Meet & Greet in Ottawa?

One for the Ottawa, Canada (or not far from Ottawa) folks...

We're going to Ottawa's Oktoberfest all day on Saturday, Sept 29. Is anyone else from the forum going? I thought it migh be a great opportunity for a meet/greet. Thoughts? If I'm allowed to post it, the link is:

Mr W&K here... I thought about it. Afterall Mrs W&K is of German heritage, so maybe she'll wear a dirndl. She's got the cleavage for it. :-) She says I have great legs for lederhosen, so who knows. :-)

Unfortunately we're a little farther west in our lovely province, and have other plans for the 29th. But what a great idea. A meet and greet; somwhere centrally located so many could attend!!!

We'd be game for that. Oktoberfest was just a quick thought without plans, and we're already going so we thought we'd throw it out there. Haha. I agree we should plan something a bit more in advance. We're in.

Seens were in the middle maybe some were in Toronto.Lots of night clubs and swing clubs near by

Heh heh... Well, we're going to be at Oktoberfest in Ottawa this Saturday anyway if any of the Ottawa area locals feel like meeting informally. A bigger get-together for those further away will have to be planned at a later date. The Ottawa thing wasn't even a plan, it was just an out-loud thought if anyone wanted to join us. :-)

Ottawa would be a bit of a haul, but TO is always doable. It is always nice to meet good people, irrespective of anything that happens or does not.

Definitely... TO would be the best choice for a larger get-together. I'm going to check some of my travel sources, and see what's available this fall.
