Hedo III is closing for good (BAD)

Words can not begin to explain my sadness in hearing this.
For me
For everyone that loves our home.
And most importantly for the staff I love who are probably loing their jobs.

What to do??? I wish I had got negative results when i went to confirm the rumor.

what a sad day....

Thats the only positive thing so far. But if they do "rename" the resort, will you still go? Or would you request a change to Hedo II.

Would not be nearly as much fun. I would NOT want to be one of the first guests to "try out" the new style in October if I was expecting the old Hedo. I would be sent to the principals office every day or expelled!!!

i also wonder about this because, i believe (and i havent done my research yet) that if the resort has a nude side it cant have under 18 there and therefore H3 will not be able to be "family orientated".

Of all the guys last week wearing dresses (no names mentioned here) I dont think he was one of them.

well considering the 2 groups going in november are kinks in the caribbean and dance wicked for a week - complete with their pole dancing lessons and stage shows......

In my conversation with the superclubs rep he said to wait until August and call when there was more information. He also said that we could move to H2 in August if we didn't want to go to H3. Well..... What if H2 is full??? And I booked H3 as H3. Not Family Fun Resort..

Lido went to Breezes format, why not HIII? HII & HIII are running 50% occupancy, they force all of the adult patrons to HII, and it stays nearly 100% booked. Maybe HII becomes 100% nude to handle the increased crowd? Cool. Maybe they put a little money into HII and bring up the facility a tad.

I hope HIII rots on the vine as a family resort and you HIII lovers get your resort back. In the mean time, welcome to HII. See you at the intersection of Delroy & Scumba.

I just spoke with Jennifer at Castaways...all of our sincerest apologies but even the THEY were not notified until just a few hours ago.

At this time the only "official" word they have had is that they are closing for rennovations for those dates and that everyone will have the option of relocation to H2.

NO WORD at all about what will or will not be policy, naming, etc after they re-open. James and Champange, the owners of Castaways are working hard from out of the country to get more information but may not have much info until they return on Friday.

They will keep us posted as soon as they hear anything.

We are still waiting to hear but nothing official has been stated by Superclubs that anything will be different once they re-open.

Personally, I realize that some rumors are more than just rumor and that sometimes information leaks out but there is no official word of going family, being more tame, etc.

Naturally with our group trip, we'll be very interested in any changes. My other concern is that regardless of the type of resort it opens under, I don't trust a plan to re-open 10/14 to actually happen within the time frame they state.

That's my concern too. Everything on island time seems to run late. With the Kinks and Wild Women arriving on the 31st of Oct and a normally full resort i sure hope they get er done.

CRAP, We'll be there at the end of July and now i wonder what kind of shape the resort will be in and also the quality of services provided, now that they have decided to close. Well, i guess we'll have to make the best of it!!
