Tips for a single lady at WWV?

Hello All

New here. Just read a RembrandtX's tale of WWV. Very impressive.

Can anyone here tell me about going as a single women to the Wild Women Vacations? Is it safe? How much fun will I have? Are the "single" men going to harass?

you should be just fine. Find a few people to hang out with and they will keep the vinnies off of you!

My wife and I have gone with WWV many times now. It is very safe -- especially if you get to know the others in the group ahead of time and at the get-acquainted meet-and-greet session on Sunday. Once the guys in the group understand what your interests are, and that you're not interested in single guys hanging around, they will be very protective.
If you want lots of fun, then you will have lots of fun!! It's a great group to be with.

I had some great conversation with a single from WWV. There were a number of singles in Nov. 2007. Beth and Robert will help to introduce you around and if you find a few people to hang out with, they can help with anyone that is too pushy. Getting to know people on this board is a help too. We have done this for single ladies before. If a guy who won't take the hint come up, we all surround her so he can't even get close. They normally figure it out then. My husband is a big guy and he makes great security.

Most guys (or women) will go the other way. Please know that you don't have to feel pressured to do anything. Just have a good time. Also Beth is a great one for letting someone know you aren't interested if they can't take the hint. She may be tiny, but she can definitely get the point across. Let us know when you are going. We will be with WWV May 2-9. The whole point of Hedo is to kick back and have a wonderful time with fun people. This will be our fourth trip and the people we have met have always been great to help out if someone is just too pushy. This doesn't just happen to the singles. Most people with take a polite "No" and still stay to chat and become friends.
