Thinking of Hedonism - Friends - shyness

Good evening. I am from Canada. I have been reading these forums. I would like to go to this resort more or so Hedo 3. I want to have fun and try new things etc.
My situation is if I go, I will probably be a single, and also being that "single Guy" Single guy going alone. So probably doesn't look good to start.
I like meeting new people, but I am a letting bit shy type. So that's kinda hard.
I would like to meet new people, but I have a problem breaking the ice. Once I get started I am ok.

What I am getting at with this forum. I would like to meet some people from here. Chat or email for a while and set up some plans for a trip to Jamaica. It would be good to already have some contacts set up prior to go going instead of just showing up and hoping for the best.

I would like to meet other people who are open minded and understand what a shy guy is like. Just want to meet others to have things in common. As for the actual trip. Just want to have fun. Not looking to go for the obvious things, what happens, happens more or less is fine.

Go to beach, play some volleyball, some good food. Play in the sun. Sociallize. Try some naked beach resort activities. Just for the freedom of it all. etc. That about it.

Right now I have no set dates of travel. I am flexible. Just want to get some contacts going first then maybe make some plans etc.

It really is hard for a single guy to fit in at a resort for couples, so why not find a travel partner and go. You'll have a much better time. use the internet if you need there's lots of willing women out there. been there twice and can't wait ot go back-it will be the time of your life

Hi adventureman, and welcome to the forums. From your intro, you sound like a very nice guy. My wife, Monieb, is more of a writer (she's writing this now with me over her shoulder), so she's better at responding to email, but my phone number is on the site if you should want to talk.

Before I met my wife, I traveled solo to Hedonism III many times, so I know what it is like. However, I tend to be very outgoing and social (especially after a few drinks), although in certain circumstances I can be shy as well. I don't think that you need to find a woman or travel partner in order to have a good time. Certain things are of course easier with a companion, but it is not a necessity.

Hello. I'm a single female from Texas. Join the solo/single group on yahoo.com. It is specifically for solo (committed but traveling alone) AND singles, such as myself. I will be going to HIII Feb 9 with a male friend. EVERYthing is so couple oriented that we do feel like pariahs don't we? Join in February!

You will do fine, recommend finding a good group that holds weekly chats

as a way for its members to get to know each other prior to arriving at Hedo. This year our group had a single gentleman join our ranks, turns out he was a great addition to AWOL. You do sound like a nice guy and I think you would have a blast at Hedo.

Even being a little shy you will find Hedo a good place for you. You will meet many outgoing people at Hedo and it will make your time easier.

It is good advise to join a group on line, email, chat and exchange information. I did find the solo group website:

hey i just got back form hedo 3 last week as a single male and i had a great time ans met a lot of great people. I just went in there with a positive attitude and socialized with everyone and got involved with most of the activities given by the entertaniment coordinators (ECs). I wiil be going again in march, to hedo 2, to see how it differs from hedo3 . Im looking for a group this time around just to change things up. let us know what u decided on doing, and let me know if u have any other questions...

It sounds like you had a blast. Attitude is everything, you seemed to have that well covered. If you can wait until April, check out Hedo's Mojo with Moe and Mo, great couple and LOTS of Hedo 2 experience, ya can't go wrong with them.

It is always so very nice to hear such an honest, sincere voice from a single man. My husband and I will be at the resort from Feb. 2 to Feb. 9. In point of fact, your honest approach is what we have always enjoyed at home when approached, and much appreciated........I hope you have a great time when you go to Hedo.
