Probably why the system says your picture is too big is the size of the file, not the physical dimensions of the picture. If you took the picture with a high resolution DSLR, this site doesn't like file sizes that would come from a DSLR, say 1MB or higher. My recommendation is open the picture in some kind of photo software that is on your computer, then modify the file size to something that is in the low kilobyte range...and then save the attachment to the system and all should be well. Just make sure to keep your original file intact...don't delete it...you never know when you'll want that higher resolution image?
