Hedo Food Downhill? Unhappy Employees?

We visited H2 for our 6th trip last week and while we had a great time as always, our take was that the food has gone downhill and the workers are not nearly as happy as previous trips. We had a couple of conversations with long time many trip couples who concurred saying it's happened in the past year or so. From Harrysan to Italian to steakhouse to buffet, the overall quality was lacking. Our last night (80's night) they had a very nice pool side spread with a lot of lobster, sushi etc and by far was the best meal of the week.

More concerning was that many of the usually smiling friendly faces of the employees wasn't there. Some were, make no mistake but it seems it's not nearly as across the board as it has been. This was the 1st Hedoween we were there that Harry wasn't.

One note, we were told that there was a fire on the nude side upper interior building block and that block was fully renovated. The plan, we're told, is to slowly renovate all rooms in that model. A friend of ours stayed in that block and I will say the rooms are by far the nicest in the resort. Great design job, 2nd sink the bedroom, really nice. Only shortcoming (at least for now) was no ceiling mirror. LOL
