Planning our first trip (need advice)

Hi! My wife and i are planning a trip to hedo for 2024 and im hoping to get some tips and advice from folks that have been.

1) We want to go when there is a group of younger folks there whether we book with the group or not. Ive seen some posts for different groups, has anyone had a great time with a specific group.

2) It seems like the resort has its own schedule and the different groups work around to do their daily pool parties etc. Do i have that correct

3) money isnt really an issue but looking at locations and distance is there any reason not to just save a few bucks on the ocean view prude hot tub room vs the nude equivalent. That block of rooms seems dead center of the property. Would love someone thats been there to weigh in on pros and cons

We were there in April and going back in October. We stayed on nude ocean view, no hot tub. We no booked a garden view room nude side. Only big difference is closer to the nude pool.

Don't over pack and bring spf 1 billion lotion and not spray on. Wife got bad titty sunburn. I packed 14 pairs of underwear and wore one, for about two hours while I had my pink " ken and barbie" suit on.

The age range varies. We had young to great grandparents there. Still had a lot of fun with all the age groups. You have to remember everyone is naked and no one really cars what you look like! When you are there don't be afraid to ask people for advice. I'd say it takes a couple of days to figure things out. However Vegas is a church social compared to Hedo!

I along with other couples that have been to Hedo will be happy to help! You can only go to
Hedo for the first time, once. It’s exciting and you’ll meet more people that have been there multiple times than their first time. So that tells you how great of a time it is.

If you two are under the age of 45, I would defiantly suggest going to Hedo Swing Breakers March 16-22. It is a great party with young couples only. You can email
hsb@hedonism.com to book.

Secondly If you go any other time I would suggest going while another group is there, otherwise you may not find many people you’d like to meet.

As far as the room choice and location…. We have twice stayed in the cheapest rooms furthest away from the nude pool (party pool) on the garden view prude/clothing optional side. All of the rooms at the resort have been updated and we were very happy with our room. It is quiet on that side and close to the dining areas so we can quickly go to our room to change into outfits. One downside is that it is further away from the nude pool which we go to multiple times through the day and night. However the sidewalks are all paved and in the shade and takes about 5 min so not a big deal.

We've been twice and both times booked Ocean View Prude and never once regretted it. After a long hiatus, we're going back to Hedo in July and are doing the exact same thing again. The distance really isn't that far and we don't mind the walk. With all we eat and drink while on vacation, a few hundred yard stroll isn't going to be that big of a deal. I recommend that you just pull the trigger and enjoy your first trip for what it is, a big wonderful new adventure. You can scope it out and learn all the tips and tricks for your second trip, which you'll no doubt be ready to book before you even leave the property.

Hi, this sounds like great advice. My husband and I are in a similar age bracket as the recommendation above. However, we are trying to plan a trip in the fall (versus next March). But how would one try to figure out when the various groups will be there? I recall a site that listed this once. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Great profile pic first and foremost! Now down to business, I would simply look on the Hedonism II website. They will have all of the larger groups listed. There may be smaller groups not listed but would be hard to find. Kasidie has some travel dates if groups and members you could also browse or post that you are looking for a date.

Hi thanks for the link. That was very helpful. We have narrowed down that first week of October and saw there were about three groups that looked interesting. One was Generation X by World Exotic Travel, which we are GenX :), the other was Pussycat Parties by Topless Travel, and the other was Sunny Buns by Tom's Trips. So hard to chose as they prices are all about the same. It sounded like Sunny Buns has a few extra things listed though. Is one of those groups more active than another? Thanks for any advice.

Update, I went with Topless Travel as I liked their website more for the online reservation and it seemed to be up front more with pricing. Looking forward to our trip the first week in Oct!

Congrats on your booking, now you have something to look forward to. We enjoy all aspects of the trip; planning, shopping for sexy outfits, theme night outfits, and traveling. The nervousness sets in when you land and builds on the drive to the resort. There is only 1 first trip to Hedo so enjoy!!
