just realized that Caribbean Air does not fly from Phl. any more.. Looks like the air fare from Phl. has doubled from what it used to be on the other carriers.. we used to fly for about $900.00 now it is around $2100.00

Drive to JFK and take Caribbean Airlines .... It is worth the trip. You make out on time and airfare.

That seems pretty steep.....we fly through Philly every trip (originating in VT) and it is roughly around $500 or $600 pp for couch most any time, including tax....that is on USAirways (the only carrier who can get us to/from MBJ easily).
Check around for sure.
