Hi everyone.
Does anyone know when rainy season is?
I am concerned about booking during rainy season and not having the same fun as I have during sunny hot season
Thanks

While it can rain year-round (Jamaica is green for reason, not just a season), the "official" rainy season is the same as hurricane season (June 1-Nov. 30). Although I can tell you that in 12 group trips in mid-late June since 2005, we have never had a rainy week and rarely more than 1-2 days when it rained at all.

Looking with more detail, Jamaica has two rainy seasons ( see: https://usercontent1.hubstatic.com/12312486_f520.jpg ). The first rainy season is reasonably short: just the month of May (more or less). The second, and longer in duration, are the months of August to October, with October being the peak of the year and the peak of the second season.
Another weather consideration: the peak of the hurricane season for the Caribbean is the 3 weeks (more or less) between the end of August and the beginning of September. For 2017, this period brought massive destruction to many of the islands, the US states of Florida, Texas and Louisiana; fortunately, Jamaica did not receive major damage, just a little more rain and wave surge.
We were there during Irma and it was windy (red flag) the first couple of days, but bone dry up until the day we left. It was the best trip weather-wise that we have had. We have been going at the end of April-beginning of May and 2nd week of September since 2010. It normally rains on both trips each year. You learn to adjust your schedule to take advantage of the sun before the rain hits. Then you move the fun into the dining room (or the bedroom). We have been there when I couldn't see my feet - that was the September that the walkway to the nude pool was closed for the room renovations and we had to walk the beach. We have also been there when there was a hurricane off both sides of Jamaica.
