we did things slightly different. we arrived at 5am in the morning (5pm UK time) got naked lay by the pool and waited for the sun to rise and people to eventually arrive about 5 hours later, where we politely called good morning to everybody as they walked passed us. I think they thought we were mad brits lol

we then lay on our sun beds for another 10 hours too scared to move - thank goodness it goes dark early

We were both naked about the same time although I think I was first one out the door. We got naked in the room and walk out the french doors with the towel slung over my shoulder (we were in a quad pool front room). I had read on here, before our first trip not to wait to just jump in. So we did. Man how I hated putting my cloths back on.

It really does suck to put the clothes back on to leave! I was amazed at how many of the clothes I brought with me that didn't get worn. I will definetly be packing differently this time!

somewhere in the bowels of this site was my recommendation to newbies-
pack a few weeks before-
a few days before the trip, remove 1/2
then remove another 1/2 the night before--

[sometime this year] will be my fifth time..
I do the toga night & the pj night, but for the most part I chill by the nude pool @ night,
so costumes are *very* minimal-

i bring safety pins & a sash for toga, and my trademark bowtie & black thong for pj night.

my 'clothing' i bring is :

nice slacks & shirt & undies for the 'nice' dinner,
t-shirt & undies for trip home, with shorts that i wore on the plane there.

that's it..

i usually pick up a souvi t-shirt, but FFS - it's a nude resort ;-)

so you're damn right I carryon a backpack for a 10 day trip!

Sounds like we have the same packer...lol...once year we actually did carry on for a 10 day trip, ahhhhh the good old days...

That was me last year, I still have cloths in my closet with tags still on them I bought for the trip.

We always bring too many clothes. May wear this, might wear that, just incase I might need this, I'll decide if I am going to use this when I get there...lol I always end up taking half of them back home clean.

I opened the pool yesterday!!! Now I am reminded of the lovely summer feel that Jamaica is coming!!!!!

When they still had the trapeze we ran out of clothes since you had to wear shorts and a t-shirt to do it. You had to sit out there in the sun sweating waiting for your turn and we did it 3 times.

Other than that we always have extra clothes. Mostly because of not really deciding ahead of time what we are going to wear, or deciding at the last minute that there is no way in hell I am wearing THAT out in public...

HMMMMM!!! I wonder what THAT could have been??????????? Not wear something at Hedo....I don't think there is much we won't see...lmao Funny how we'll go naked and not blink an eye but give us something crazy to wear in front of everyone and we're like "No F*#^#n' Way I'm Wearing That!"

I do not think that I have ever considered Hedo as being public...I may now have to rethink my wardrobe.....

I totally get the concept of having stuff 'just in case you need it'.. that's why I have an (OTC) drug bag with little bottles of immodium, tums, pepto, benadryl, asprin, tylenol, ibuprofin and triptone (motion sickness that whips dramamin's ass)

However, for me, at Hedo, I balance the clothing issue with -
* I'm lugging it a few thousand miles to a foreign country
* if I take too much & i have to check it, i may never see it again
* if I -really- need something, i can buy it there and have a souvi..
* if I run out of clothes, I could just not wear any.

the last point is what it really comes down to for me

but of course, none of this applies to sexy lady outfits.. but you can usually fit three or four of those in your insulated mug

i agree, it is an interesting phenom where you would think twice about sexy clothing, but naked is a no-brainer.
i'll have to conduct more research in a controlled, yet tropical environment.

There is one thing you will not see ... ever ... and that is me wearing the huge hat with a feather in it that Elle bought for me to wear on Pirate night. On that first pirate night I put it on in the room, looked in the mirror, then took it off as fast as humanly possible. That was NOT the kind of pirate I wanted to be - lol
