A new resort in Tulum has recently opened called Intima Tulum, formerly mak nuk.
Can anyone give me some information about it?
Is it lifestyle friendly or strictly nudist?

I was there two weeks ago and it was very quiet. Very nice resort. Hard to tell if it is lifestyle friendly from my experience, we were not more than 4 or 5 couples.
Has anyone else gone to Intima Resort in the last few months. We are considering on going in October. I have scene a few good reviews on Tripadvisor,( yes I know about Tripadvisor, LOL ).
Looking for a low key but still a fun good trip somewhere.
We are heading there February 18 - 25 and will definitely share our thoughts when we return. The pictures look fabulous and it's getting very good reviews so we have high expectations. Will be a quieter more relaxing vacation than Hedo for sure but looking forward to trying something different.
Thank you Cdn-cpl. We also are looking for a relaxing trip. After several trips to Hedo, Desire rm and Pearl. We are also looking for something different. We did see the one review (TA) when the restaurant was closed due to only 3 rooms booked. I think we will rent a car so we have a little more freedom. We are booking for the middle of October this year.
No problem, we finalized all our plans yesterday, flight is booked and car is rented. We decided not to do the all-inclusive so a car will give us a little more mobility to find some restaurants and see the sights.
This place looks awesome! Looks like about a 1-1/2 hour drive from the airport, which is about what the drive is from MBJ airport to Hedo.
How is the pricing of Intima Tulum compared to the Desire resorts? Desire pricing has been quite high lately.
We're really looking forward to your review, CDN_cpl!
Thanks,
KnD

Intima is significantly cheaper than Desire. Rooms start at $140 US per night (per room, not per person). All-inclusive is optional, you can do it for the entire trip or just pick certain days, or not at all. They have rooms with full kitchen facilities if you want to cook for yourself. The grounds look beautiful as well as the rooms. Only drawback is it's not on the beach but apparently there's a very nice nude beach less than 10 mins away and the resort is fully clothing optional. There's no nightly entertainment or themes so it sounds like it will be a great choice if you want somewhere relaxing. If you need the party atmosphere of Desire or Hedo it's probably not the best choice. We've been to Hedo six times and Desire twice so this will definitely be different for us but we're looking forward to it. We'll post a full review when we get back.

First, in no way am I saying this resort does this. There are a lot of people out there that will write fake reviews on trip advisor. It is always the running joke about reviews on trip advisor. (google it)!
We really like that we can do the all inclusive for the days we want.
We are booked at Intima for 31st to Feb 6. Hope to see some new friends there.

Thank you sun, looking forward to our trip later in February
We were there last spring. 90% were nude always. Great place to lay back and not worry. Friendly, good food, beautiful surroundings and accommodations. What I like is that you don't have to get dressed anywhere inside the entrance, including the restaurant.
