this forum is full of great info and the people are very intuitive to this sight and the goings on. anybody have a suggestion on which resort to stay on for the first time. We are going in july(4-11).

which is the best resort for a first timer. hedo II or III.
Both! I think it depends on what you plan on doing if you go off the resort. H3 is close to dunn river falls, ohco rios, zip line stuff, etc.
Last time I was at H2 was in 2001, we did the booze cruise and ricks cafe as well as some beach party off the resort.
H2's beach is nicer beach then H3 and from what I remember H2 doest not have a quad type pool like H3.
Either way you can't go wrong!

Either resort will be great. We will be at HII for 7-1 thru 7-8, with a large group from Denny P's travel. Do not know about HIII, but HII in July has a huge group of people. There is a group of us on yahoo that are going at the same time. Yahoo group Hedo2_July_2010. See ya there.

I can definitely second that July 4th at Hedo II is a very busy time. If you like a crowd, and a lot of fun people, you can't go wrong there. If you're looking for a smaller crowd, you might check on h3 to see if they are equally busy that time of year or not.
