best time for hedo 2

last 2 years we have gone to hedo 2 the first of april.We are not able to make it in April this year l. looking for the best time to go after july.We were thinking around September. Anyone got any ideas.

We've been to Hedo 2 three times in the August/September timeframe and once in April and going again this April. Its definitely less crowded in late summer, but this can be a good or bad thing depending on what you're looking for. We made some great friends and you really don't notice that its less crowded. Its almost a little more intimate and you get to know people more then when its almost full capacity - and we're not talking 10 people. Its still at least 50-80 people. Bottom line is its never a bad time to go. Best thing about September is you can get up late and still get a pretty good spot at the pool or beach. Have fun.

thanks for the info.we probably should look at going twice a year.once in april and then august/september.

We were there for 10 days in August and we leave in 12 days for our April trip. These are good months to go. As was previously mentioned, it is less crowded in August, but we liked it. As long as there are enough people there to have a good party, which there was, a smaller crowd had a lot of advantages such as shorter lines for food, drinks at the bar, etc., and more floats and lounge chairs available. It is a bit hotter and more humid in August and the dining room can be particularly warm, but all in all we were very happy with the August trip. The prices are also much better in August as well.

I agree! August/September can be iffy on weather (September especially as it is THE high season for hurricanes) and it is very warm & humid. BUT it is also more quiet and intimate and yes, you can meet everyone at the resort, which is fun. No lines for drinks or trouble getting a table for dinner (unless they haven't set up enough!) and you can get a chair no problem at the beach or pool regardless of when you get up! It is a more laid back type of vacation for us usually in September, but we keep coming back then. The price is RIGHT too...they have great sales...they usually come out in the late spring/early summer.

Thanks Yes hurricane season makes it a little iffy.Probably would need to buy trip insuranceProbably will look at other months.

We've gone in April once and usually go in November the week before Thanksgiving. We love that time of week and feel it's the best time to go!
