    Scuba Diving

What are the diving services like at H3? Does H3 have it's own dive shop or do you need to go to one of the other SuperClub resorts? We are both certified already so don't need the resort certification. I haven't found any links about that anywhere.

We're planning on a week in Sepember. Would like to get a couple of dives in. Any advice or insights from divers would be a appreciated. Thanks.

Hedo 3 has it's own dive shop. Lately they have been sharing the same dive boat with Breezes, they go out and pick up breezes divers and then usually two dives, 30', then 60', then drop breezes divers off and back to Hedo 3. Unfortunately the dive shop has changed alot, people in charge, etc. And they do not seem to be putting money back into the equipment, as the dive boat needs to be shared, and of that, only one of the two motors on the boat worked, and that one motor had 2 of the 3 prop's torn up. But they made it out and back ok, lol.

The Hedo II staff cancelled the dive when the throttle cable failed on on engine.
They considered it a safety issue... Kudos to them.
We only missed one SCUBA trip that week and we were grateful they put our safety first

LMAO. Those pics were just too funny.

I spent a week in Thailand diving in the open ocean out of a Thai long-tail boat, which is basically a really long canoe with a weedeater on the back. So, the H3 boat looks relatively safe.

So, do they go to different places throughout the week? I've never been somewhere where they do Resort certs and didn't know how they operated.

Yes there are several different dive sites they visit. A deep cavern, a shallow reef, a sunken boat and plane, etc.
