    Ocho Rios food

Just wondering if anyone had any recommendations for places to find good local food? I read about a few Mom's and Lobster Dave's (beach shack grill) and just wondered if anyone had any other good spots.

I love beach shack grills, you just can't beat watching you food come in off the boat.

I was at Scotchies Jerk Center in St. Ann...about 15 minutes from H3 toward Ocho and it was FANTASTIC! I want to go back there again this next trip! Some friends who live on the island took us there once as it's one of their favorites.

    Evita's

My husband and I just recently got married at Hedo 3. Our wedding coordinator suggested a little Italian Restaurant in Ocho Rios called Evita's. It is in a Gingerbread house dating back to 1860. It is nestled on the hillside and the view is amazing. The prices are decent. We paid about $100US for a nice dinner for 2. Including a bottle of wine, 17.5% tax, and 10% gratuity. The host Eva (evita) is from Venice, Italy and there are pictures on the walls of her posing with famous people that have ate there. Keith Richards, Uma Thurman, Anthony Hopkins, Dennis Hopper to name a few.
We highly suggest this restaurant. We also suggest making reservations and asking for the table we had which was in the far right corner. I've attached a picture of the view. It was outstanding!
