Given the groups that will be there, the different theme nights, etc. what nights would be the recommended nights?

I don't know how I would pick... I think Tuesday and Wednesday are our favorite nights. Saturday is always great though ... hmmm but Sunday and Monday Rock... wow .. I don't envy you this decision.

We're in the same boat but we are planning on being there for the start of cocktails. We missed the beginning last year and we're going to miss the end this year. We are going to enjoy whatever time we can get, we'll just have to party twice as hard.

Rob- I get to experience something at hedo this year that I hoped I never would have to- I have a 1/2 marathon 1 week after we get back, so I have to at least get some treadmill time in most days- I don't want to, but I will. Yuck. Figure 4-5 miles 3 or 4 times... gonna hurt.
I always used to love walking by the gym and seeing people in there thinking "crazy bastards".... sigh....

As dedicated as I am when we are not at Hedo, and even when I have a race shortly after Hedo, I have a terrible time being consistent while we are there. It is not as hard at the beginning of the week, but the second half of the week it gets brutal after the partying fatigue really sets in. I wish you god luck, and I hope all goes well with your race. Which race are you doing?

The America's Finest City Half- starts with a long downhill, then flat, then about a mile uphill to false flat finish. I did it once before when I was 17 and younger, thinner, and dumber... must be a midlife crisis thing.

That sounds like a fun race ... also one where you will go out way too fast and really be hurting later :-) Good luck on the race - I'm sure you will enjoy it.
