Hedo II and III Trip Review

In search of a sexy adventure, we decided to check out both Hedo resorts. We are an attractive couple in our early 30s and interested in some fun play. We also enjoy being sexy in public places.
At Hedo III for 9 nights, we were surprised when we noticed that no one was having sex or being sexy aroundthe nude pool or beach or anywhere during the day. Hedo II was a bit better for sexy pool moments in the sun (usually by much older couples), however Hedo III had a more naturalist feel to it. We braved our shyness at Hedo III but things got old fast when we were always the only couple being sexy by the pool (mostly handjobs as we were shy to be the only couple doing more than that).
At Hedo II we were very happy to see a few other couples being sexy in public, so I was giving a BJ to my husband on the beach by the nude pool and just before climax, a security guard came up to us and another couple and told us to 'take it to the pool'. I asked her why and she said that people on the boats (which I could barely see) could be taking photos, and she went on about how if we ever had kids what they would think, ect, and then she was gone. And so was the orgasm... Well, no one told us the rules when we got there- where we can and can't have sex. We thought Hedo would be a lot more open than it actually was.
After that we kind of gave up and stuck to our room for daytime sex. Even at night Hedo III didn't get more than 20% sexy and well, where was everyone? Hedo II was a different story, although many of the people were much older than us and didn't take care of their bodies. We found that most of the younger attractive couples, while very nice and we had some amazing connections, were not interested in exploring outside their partnerships. We did however have a few wonderful sensual nights in the Hedo II hot tub that we are very grateful for.
Now for comparing the resorts, we liked them both for different reasons. Hedo II had an ice cream machine, but Hedo III had better food for vegetarians and the buffet table area at Hedo III was much nicer. We found the food and bar staff great at both resorts, but the entertainment staff at Hedo III were a lot more fun and energetic. The music at Hedo II was better though. We suspect that Hedo III only owns 3 cds and 2 of them are Bob Marley. How can the staff listen to Bob all day every day when we were going bananas by day 7!?
The rooms were comparable. Hedo III had nice large bathrooms with a tub and mirror on the ceiling, although you were lucky to have hot water. Hedo II had small smelly old bathrooms and you have to run the shower for 10 minutes but at least the water eventually gets hot.
The beds were comfy at both resorts and the porn was fun to watch. At Hedo III we didn't know anyone who had a working TV remote. When we got to Hedo III we couldn't turn off our air conditioner, the shower was cold, and it was cold and raining outside. The hot tubs were also cold at times at Hedo III but if you ask at the front desk, they will get someone to fix it, but watch out, it may be scalding hot in an hour! Luckily Hedo III has 2 nice saunas and a smelly steam room to keep you warm if all else fails. We were unlucky that it was cold and raining 6 out of 9 nights we were at Hedo III. Maybe that's why most people stayed in their rooms instead of venturing out to the tubs at night? Or maybe we just picked a slow week...
Hedo II has no saunas but the hot tub was always the perfect temperature, and it was 5 times the size of any Hedo III tub. Plus, it was packed at night (once I counted 75 people in the hot tub at Hedo II). However at around 2am most couples go to their rooms leaving the single guys alone and the rest of us wondering where the party went.
In conclusion, I'd have to agree that the people definately make the vacation. We were glad that the Fluffernutters group were at Hedo II when were were there- they were all so incredibly nice and fun-loving. So many people at both resorts were friendly and open, just being themselves, not a worry in the world. It was a freeing experience just being around them. If we went back to Hedonism we would look more into which groups go when and try to book with a younger, sexier group. Otherwise, if you're interested in a romantic couple getaway where you're bound to meet others, this may be exactly what you need.
