We have only been to H2, but it is my understanding that H3 is newer with nicer rooms. We do not have any problems with conditions at H2. We have been at 5 star resorts with nicer rooms and grounds, but have never been to a resort other than Hedo that the overall vacation was even close to being as good. The experience far outweighs any resort downsides, you will have a blast and wish you would have done it sooner, have fun!

We were there in November as well. Our shower had terrible water presure and no hot water. We talked to the front desk and had Niagra Falls every day after. With the flow came hot water, so we were good. They even offered to move us to another room if they could not fix it.
The food was fine. The buffet is OK. The Pastafari is the best place to eat. The steak was excelent. They were out of one of the sides, so I got one of the main pasta dishes (pasta carbonara) as a side. I even had them hold something. It realy made the meal. Next year I'm doing the same thing.

We had too much pressure, when I turned the shower on the first day the pressure blew the shower head off and it hit me in the chest. So for the rest of the week we kept the pressure lower and the shower head stayed on..
    No problem mon

We were there in August and we're booked for April. Let's see. Do we go to Hedo II for the rooms? No, although they are just fine. Do we go there for the haute cuisine? No, although the jerk chicken is to die for, Pastafari's is great and there is always something you'll like at the buffet. We go there for the people and the atmosphere and they are both five stars! Friends of ours are going with us in April and it will be their first trip to Hedo. They asked about the rooms and we told them that the only time you will spend in the room will be to sleep and f**k. They said, "So, you're only there for about eight and a half hours a day?" We replied, "Yes, and it's amazing how you can get by on just a half hour of sleep!" Don't worry about the rooms, or the food or any of the negatives you see on these boards. Just go and you'll know. In fact, start saving now for your second trip because you WILL go back.

We are going back in 2 days

The rooms are the best but they are very comfortable, if you go expecting 5 star accommodations u wont get that but you will certainly get a very receptive, hard working staff who will be willing to do what ever it take to make it the best trip ever. everything is above ordinary, certain things can be improved but the location, atmosphere and the people you will meet you will say afterwords that it was more than worth the money....

just go and enjoy it for what it is, you will have a blast i promise

Great Reviews. WE are first timers going in May 15th-22nd and are planning on H3, which is better? Are the reviews above for mostly h2 or h3. WE read the same trip advisor reviews and are a little skeptical. Also since this is our first experience at either resort, being first timers- we are a little nervous (primarily the wife is- first time without a bathing suit and all ) any advice on which is better 2 or 3 ???

After 5 times there ( I think it speaks for itself) we've seen it all. Broken AC/ no water, no electricity, dirty bathrooms, broken appliances, grease fire at the nude grill, a nude pool you could not get into due to failure of pumps and trash from the night before etc. We still return every year. Enjoy yourself, make friends, and go back!

We were there in July and everything was great. They seem to be making improvements while we were there. The room was spotless. The food was good but not great other than the chicken cheese nachos which we ate everyday. You will only be in the room to sleep and f@#k so go and enjoy. The little things that annoy us at home when we go out are what make the trip to Jamaica so memorable.
