Early October is excellent but always a chance of an afternoon shower while late October has perfect days and a tad bit cooler nites and waters. Just not the intense sun during the day but very comfortable.

Did you end up going to Rooftop this past July? Anyone else visited Rooftop in the past couple of months?
How was your trip to Rooftop? Was it worth the money? Their website mentions a bbq lunch on Sat. and Sun. , was it good?
What can you tell us about the occupancy at the hotel? Were there lots of outside people coming in for the club in the evening?
How was the "vibe"?
We are hoping to meet "Hedo people" who are open-minded, love to hang out naked all day and dance and swing at night.
Any and all info. would be appreciated.

we went about a month ago. The place caters to single men and the couples are the bait. Ripped off. The front desk clerk doesn't like couples either. He makes couples park in the pay parking lot and let's single guys park in the hotel parking lot for day passers. Totally disgusting. We live in Vero Beach and ended up trying a new place Fawlty Towers Clothing Optional Resort In Cocoa Beach Florida. Much more relaxed. The staff was quite nice and they did not let a slew of men in who expect "Have .Sex with your Wife" We had a much more relaxed and lifestyle friendly stay at Fawlty towers then we did at the Rooftop in Hollywood Florida. There was swinging but it was much more on the downlow and took place after ten in the evening. Try it.

All these posts are dated. Has anyone been there in the last six months/year? Would like to find a place with a little Hedo vibe a little closer to home. Nothing beats ten days in Jamaica but a weekend away would be fun.

Double down. We stopped for one night on our way to Fantasy Fest. Quiet on a week night but we did have fun. Its old and needs updating. Did not see any major cleanliness issues. Pool area was fine. Bring your own bottle. Quite a few single men hanging around, they werent a problem if you dont mind being watched. Play rooms nice, wife wants to do the swing again. Bonus! We want to go back for a few days and check out the Boardwalk area and maybe local clubs. Its not Hedo but it might help you get through the in between times.

We stayed there last night. The rooms are nothing special but they are clean. The place is clearly dated but where else can you go naked in the area?! It was primarily older couples and single guys, many of which seemed weird but did not approach us. We had low expectations so we're not disastisfied. We did talk to a younger good looking couple who said the weekends are much more fun!

Three years ago I was in Florida for three months on a trip to the States and hung (literally) out at the Rooftop as much as possible. It's not the Hilton, but I had an awesome time and can highly recommend it. When you read some bad reviews the thing you have to remember is that everyone who isn't a local there on a day pass is either there for the weekend only, or there for a week. Like any party, club, small resort, it depends on who happens to be there on that particular weekend or week as to whether it's a crappy experience, or a fucking (literally) awesome experience!! The staff are awesome if you drop a kind word and get to know them a little (as much as you can on a short trip) but that's the same with just about any place to go to for a holiday. Some people seem to prime themselves for a crappy holiday and some can have a laugh and a party no matter what happens!! I had a Hurricane go through the Rooftop on one weekend that I stayed there with an American girlfriend and we had a great time, even though there were only three couples left in the hotel when it hit.

In the three months that I went to the Rooftop, I only once saw the aftermath of a one-punch fight between two young men (we never saw them again after that) and that's in a place that allows alcohol. It kinda says something about how cruisy and relaxed the place is all the time. As for sex, it's totally up to you. A lot of people go there just to spend the day naked in the sun by the pool. A few go there to have sex as a couple (but not to swing) because it's the only place that you can legally do "it" in public. The rest are there to shop for sex in any and every combination. But most of the time, they're all just chatting over a cocktail or beer in the pool. People might drift back to their rooms late in the day or evening with a new-found friend (or several) but even if they don't, it's still a great place to just chill, get away from it all or party it up and dance the evening away when the music cranks up at night. If you are the couple who end up dancing on the bar at night then the best weekends are probably the national holiday/party weekends like 4th July or Halloween. Otherwise, just go there to chill in the sun (or shade) completely naked and relax in good conversation with complete strangers surrounded by pool area full of naked people. If something sexy happens, then great. If it doesn't, then just chill and relax the weekend away.

We stayed there 10/15. We loved haul over beach. As for rooftop good and bad. One thing the built a hotel that looks down on the pool area so not completely private any more. We were there for Halloween and they had a great party. Play rooms are small. The property is old. My biggest problem was the air conditioning in room was blowing right on bed really messed with my allergies. We are not interested in single guys but met a respectful one at pool. Unfortunately there were some creepy ones lurking about. The staff went out of thier way to be friendly and helpful. We probably wouldn't do that again.
On a side note we went to club called trapeze. Any one can contact me in this one but the single guys were so creepy I couldn't even get wife on dance floor.
