Room Type

Hello Everyone! My wife and I are considering Hedo III for March 10-17 2010. I had a question about the room type. We found an outstanding deal but the room type is Pool View which I take is their standard room. Is it worth the upgrade to Pool Front or Oceanfront? What about the Au Natural rooms? Any better than the others? We are really excited about going and will post some pics so you will know who we are.

We had an Au Natural Oceanview Suite when we went our first time last year. We loved it. Others say it isn't worth the price upgrade. It really depends on what you want to see, and hear. We liked it as we could get an oceanview. And at night we could watch what happened at the nude pool area if we were not down there, or on the swinging beds, etc. I like it because there wasn't a walk to get there. LIke anything, pros and cons to everything. Frankly, we lived at the nude pool, so it was convenient. Plus the swinging beds were an automatic 2:00am alarm clock to wake us up for the nude hot tub time.

Pool view will be in the quad...which can be a little loud in the late afternoon and late night. With the windows closed and bathroom vent on the noise is not that bad. The inside of every room at Hedo are identical except for the suites...the rest is just location. There really is not a bad room...if you have the extra cash I would upgrade to an ocean view...if not you will be fine with pool view. You really are not in your room much except to sleep, get ready and

...not necessarily in that order!

Thank you guys. We don't plan on spending much time in the room! We have gone to Mexico or the Caribbean twice a year for the last 7 years just have never been to Hedo. Reall looking forward to it.

We had a pool view room for our first trip to H3 - We loved it. The noise isnt too bad if you shut your bathroom door. Like others said, its mostly about where you want to be. For us, a pool view room is fine. If you found a great deal on an upgrade, go for it! Enjoy your trip!

Last April we had a pool view room it rocked

we over looked the quad hot tub.

It maid for some nice scenery . We never found it noisy at all (thats probably because we were part of the racket lol)From the rooms we seen there all the same, just your personal preference will make the difference .

We have had ocean front nude, pool view and by far our favorite is pool front. We split our time from the nude side ti the quad and its great having the "facilities" up close. We had a few couples last year on the group that downgraded there nude ocean nude suites to pool front

We partied in the pool front room and it was cool to walk from the pool right into your room. It kind of feels like your room is part of the party. The draw back is that you are in the party whether you want it or not. The other draw back is the pool view actually have a view and you can watch all the action. Like most people said, just get there and it will all be good. Irie!!

Pool Front room owners have lots of friends since the Quad has no public restrooms available...

There is not a difference in the room unless you get a suite which is only a little more room. The only difference in room categories is if your looking out at a pool, the ocean, the basketball court, or the ocean. We were in the 800 our first year and thought it was a great location to everything in the resort. We were in the 200 building last year in the quad and got poolview which is the only room category where you can guarantee to walk no stairs to get to your room which we loved after long days and nights. It is all preference and everyone has different tasts. I prefer no stairs though and will book poolfront always now.

We prefer the ocean front prude. We live in Philly and see buildings all the time, so when we look out the window we want to see the ocean. Also why we prefer the nude pool over the quad. And prude side is cheaper and we still walk back and forth to the nude pool naked without a problem.
But you can't go wrong with any room at Hedo. If your staying in the quad the ground floor is the best way to go.

We stayed in a Quad pool front room last year. Someone told us the secret to blocking most of the noise. Just keep the bathroom door closed.

We are going for our 3rd trip to H3, and we have always had our pool front room. We love it. In addition to the other advantage, bathroom close by, in the center of everything....ect. No steps... I believe its the only room on the resort that is guaranteed to be on the ground floor. I can't imagine running up 3 flights of steps for anything I forgot... or drunk in 4 inch heals after a late night at the disco.
