Ok. I’ve been putting off writing the trip report because thinking about it makes the DIF much worse.Anyhow let’s see what I can remember.
This was our virgin trip. Oct 31 to Nov 7th. We went with the Wild Women Group.
Day 1 - Our first flight was canceled, our second flight pulled away from the gate and then had to pull back to the gate because of a brake problem. (At this point, I’m thinking maybe we’re not supposed to be going. Actually I was thinking were on a plane, do we really need brakes? Isn’t that what reverse engines are for? I just want to get there.) Anyhow, they brought the mechanics on the plane and fixed it in about 45 minutes. Off we go, make our connection in Atlanta (instead of Memphis where we were supposed to meet Midwestguy – remember the canceled flight) and land in MoBay about 2:00. We go through customs get our bags and stroll on over to the Superclub’s lounge in about 20 minutes. There was only one other person (drinking a red stripe) in the lounge when we got there. We got our little card and filled it out. I quickly inquired to the other guy (drinking the red stripe) where I might get one of those. He showed me where the bar was around the corner outside the airport. As we sat and waiting for the bus, we chatted with our new found friend and he was waiting for his girlfriend because her flight was delayed. After talked a while we discovered he was half of the “littlenervous” couple. So around red stripe number 2 or 3 another plane lands and a few more people start coming into the lounge. My other half quickly figures out that the little cards you fill out are different colors for the different resorts. Ok – quick look who has the red cards, who has the red cards. As we are looking to see who has the red card, I see a lady on mission heading to the Superclub lounge. I quickly recognize Juiciberri from her pictures. She of course has no idea who we are. Long story short we introduce ourselves and about that time we are off to board the bus. We say bye to Littlenervous as he is still waiting for his girlfriend’s plane to arrive. I think it was only about a 30 minute wait in the Superclubs lounge for the bus. The bus ride went very quick as we chatted with Juici the whole ride there. We made a stop along the way for a refreshment (Red Stripe) and for any other misc. supplies one might need. I think the ride with the stop was under 1 ½ hours. We arrive at the resort and check in with no problem. Room is ready – 3rd Floor Quad Poolfront. The porter escorts us to our room and we are now officially ready to party.
We quickly check out the room and head off to check out the resort before it gets dark. We end up at the main bar. Now, bear with me because the next 6 days start to run together. Anyhow B&T (littlenervous) show up and we have a few drinks with them. I think we met Dave and Carolyn at this point as well. Before we knew it, it was time for dinner and the Hedoween party. So we hurry back to the room, quick showers, put on our costumes and back down to the main dining room. We find a spot at B&T’s table and we meet L&M (Too Little Time). More drinks and a little food. Something about somebody falling off a chair (“Supposedly the chair broke”). Sorry L, it was quite funny though. Hmmn don’t really remember what we did after that. S says we went to the piano bar and the disco. I do remember going to the nude hot tub after that as this was our first trip to the nude side. It was probably 2:00 in the morning and the place hopping. We met K&L (Klmbranch) in the hot tub. Hung out there for a little while (no pun intended) and then headed back to the room. We were both quite tired from begin up since 3:00 a.m.
1st day Observations – Trip from the airport and check-in was really quite easy. The resort is cleaner / nicer than I expected. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Red Stripe beer on draft is actually pretty good. Getting naked on the nude side was really pretty easy. (Just do it!)
