HELP!! Newbie swingers need some good condom advice!!

OKAY!
Can we get a thread going for us condom 'newbies' that don't know much about condoms? We have been monogamous for over 20 years until hmmm, well recently (mutual agreement, and we all had fun!!)! And we have not had to worry about protection for years and years....soooo, we really don't have any clue about what is a good thin kind of condom.

Last time we played we found the condoms to be cumbersome, so if anyone can recommend a decent condom that doesn't take away from his experience as well as her experience AND keep safety key, please advise away!! Both you fellas and girls are welcome to express your favorites!!

Guess I'll be the first to jump off on this one. Condoms have gotten a lot better than they used to be, but that said, it still takes away from some of the sensation, for both parties. A few that we have tried with acceptable results were Trojan; Twisted (green box), Her Sensation, Ribbed, Supra (polyutherane for those with latex allergy), we have also recently started using Lifestyles Skyn, which is another non-latex condom, very thin but still stretchy unlike the Supra. Hope this helps.

Trojan's new ecstasy condoms are supposed to be wonderfull....havent tried them yet...might have to try them when we return to Hedo 2 in Jan.... hehe

Consumer Reports recently tested condoms. Here are excerpts from their review:

Seven condoms achieved a perfect score of 100, a somewhat rare occurrence for Consumer Reports' stringent lab tests. Those condoms include the following models: Durex Performax; Lifestyles Ultra Sensitive Lubricated; Lifestyles Warming Pleasure; Trojan Her Pleasure Ecstasy; Trojan Magnum Lubricated; Trojan Ultra Ribbed Ecstasy; and Trojan Ultra Thin.

Consumer Reports Health also performed two submersion tests to look for possible leaks in the condom and its packaging. Consumer Reports Health notes that the Night Light Glow in the Dark condom exceeded the organization's criterion for the number of samples with holes; however, this model did live up to its illumination claim.


Personally, after not using condoms for 25 years, my condom of choice is the Trojan Magnum Lubricated.
