    airport

When traveling I try to avoid checked luggage.

I've been to Jamica before and I traveled on a charter plane. Check in was a breeze because Ryan International had the smallest line.

Ryan International no longer has flights from my airport.

I am flying Delta. I've seen the outrageous lines. How long does it take to check in on the way home? How early do I need to arrive at the airport?

    Thanks!

It really just depends on your ravel days, weekends of course will take longer. We have been able to get checked in in minutes on most trips.

Hedo will send you to the airport on their schedule. But that ensures you catch the plane and do not try to come back because you arrived too late! Hedo and the bus operators have it all in hand. Makes no real difference if you have bags or not -- same hassles, same security nonsense, same paperwork. It's the price we all pay for traveling.

PNK nailed it. Your transfer to MoBay will leave at the same time whether you have bags to check or not. Expect to leave the resort 3-4 hours before your departure (10AM for a 2PM flight.) On arrival it didn't take any extra time to pick up our baggage. We happened to land at MoBay right on top of a Virgin 747 out of London and it took 1 1/2 hours to reach immigration. I was not a happy camper, but that's just the luck of the draw.
I'm not as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I ever was.
