We flew air jamaica from Ft Lauderdale for our Oct 09 H3 trip - flight there was uneventful.....flight home was a nightmare - delayed 6+ hours (heard from others flying back with us that their inbound flight was delayed 12+ hrs). We missed our connecting flight back to Phoenix so we spent a night in Ft Lauderdale - would've much rather spent that extra time waiting at the airport and in Ft lauderdale back at Hedo....Flying US Air for our June 10 trip - costs alittle bit more money - but our H3 time is of value!

Has anyone ever flown with Air Jamaica? If you have please tell me about your experience with them?

We've only had one problem. A 6 hour delay coming home. Was sitting in Montego Bay a bit too long. They handed out food vouchers to the group. One piece of our luggage didn't make it back with us but was delivered to our doorstep the very next day. I wrote a letter to them explaining the inconvenience and they sent us two 70$ vouchers to use on our next trip. However they no longer fly non stop flights from Chicago to Jamaica!
This year we are flying USA3000 and got real good rates!
