How long is the ride?

I have read some of the threads and wanted to know how long will it take to get to the resort?

The Superclubs shuttle to H3 was an hour and 1.5 hours.

I have read about construction, goats, cops, and rest/beer stops

and just pray it wont take 2 hours to get to resort.

Our last trip from M-Bay to Hedo 2 was only a little over an hour...no goats..no beer stops...

Our fastest trip to H2 was 59 minutes (late evening). Our most fun trip was longer, with a bus load of H2 guests, all of them getting to know each other. When we arrived we already had a load of new friends.
With the right attitude, the bus trip can be the real start of the vacation -- not something to be feared.

last trip, about an hour to H2 and then off to H3, we had a luxury bus for 3 people to H3 about an hour and 15 minutes

It took about 1 1/2 hours to get to H3 in June. That included the 20 minute beer stop and dropping of passengers to 3-4 different resorts. The bus was full and we were the last stop.

We did a beer stop and there was quite a bit of traffic coming out of Montego Bay. It took about 1.5 hours for us to get to hedo 2. Going back to the airport though only took an hour. Much less traffic and no stop.

This past wekend it took us just about an hour to hedo 3 ... 2 hours from hdo 3 to hedo 2 ..and this moring it was 1.5 hrs at 7 am to MBJ...trafic and construction just before Montego Bay ...

I think it really depends on what time of day you're arriving in MoBay. I always arrive in the afternoon due to having to travel 2300+ miles w/connection.

I've never been able to go from MoBay to Negril in less than 1 3/4 hours during the afternoon and usually closer to 2 hours with the 10 or so minute beer/bathroom stop (except last Nov with a leadfoot driver and no stops = 1 1/3 hours). However, I've almost always been 1 1/4 hours in the AM from Negril to the Airport.

I'm in a hurry to get there, so I take TimAir. 40 minutes from curb to HII, plus the flight is a hoot. Not in a hurry to get back, so we ride the shuttle bus.

We returned a few hours ago from H2. About 90 minutes from the airport to the resort with a 5-10 min. beer stop, that was required despite everyone asking to just go to the resort. The return drive today was 75-80 min. with no stops.
