Another Money Question (Sorry) I'm such a newb

I was just wondering if anyone has ever taken any Canadian funds over to Hedo3? Do they frown upon other currencies then USD. Just curious if I have to go to the trouble of converting my money to American to travel to Jamaica....

Just bring American dollars for Jamaican purchases. Usually only need cash to buy trinkets from the vendors on the beach and "party favours" from the shuttle bus driver. We just bring our Canadian money for airport purchases in Calgary and for our breakfast at the Toronto airport and for drinks during the flight.

USD...it is taken everywhere..I'm not sure they'd know what to do with Can.$$$ or the exchange you would get...we've also never used Jamaican currency...Just remember to take lots of small bills...change can be an issue...most claim they don't have any, so it's best if you can pay the correct amount rather than taking a clay ashtray as change...lol

Last April we brought some usd money(that we bought when our loonie was worth1.02$) but the best exchange rate we found was at the cash mashine in Ocho Rios, better that the BMO back home.
