Know we have decide to go.....what do we bring?

So know that me and wife have decided to take the chance and go to hedonism what are some things we should bring with us? I know the normal stuff like cloths and personal care items, but what else? I have read forums saying to bring Lysol, so that's one thing. And I am aware of theme night, so what else?9

    Insulated mugs for your drinks.
A piece of rope to hang up clothes to dry.

Those are on our list of things to bring.

Oh yeah, we forgot another must have for us. A lanyard to hold your key card, unless they no longer have key cards.

Lysol is a must like you said, and bring a big can. We sprayed down the AC unit a few times throughout the trip along with spraying down everything in the room. Bring plenty of suntan lotion and some Aloe Vera, throughout the trip, you will more than likely be burned sometime. Also I would recommend bringing a hat even if you do not where it. The Jamaican sun seems a lot stronger down there. Have a nice trip, I will try and think of some more things.

We took a can of that Febreeze spray that is scented but also has a germ killer in my fav scent. Sprayed it on the aircon and on the bedding every second day or so. I knew I had caught up when the room smelled like the febreeze when we popped in for something or other! lol.... We never got that aircon cold so many speak of....

Also the bubba mugs, but mostly used then for ice water or ice and Ting.... Didn't DARE use them for Dirty Bananas!

Skip the Febreeze if you like the Jamaican aromatherapy. The minute I arrive at the Sangster Airport in Montego Bay I like to take a deep breath and loudly exclaim (much to my husaband's horror) IT SMELLS LIKE JAMAICA!!! RIGHT ON!!! (ocean air and herb)

I will admit that we tend to go a little overboard, but we believe it's better to be totally self sufficient than to not have something you need. Your objective is to avoid having to go to the nurse (because it eats up lots of valuable Hedo time), or the doctor (for meds because it's expensive and time consuming) or the gift shop (also expensive as well as inconvenient) Here's our packing list which we keep refining. Take it or leave it, but it's a good guide. By the way, you DON'T need many clothes at all. You will bring most of them home unworn. Wear back what you wear on the trip down and only think about dinners as far as clothes are concerned.

Antibiotics (little cuts and abrasions are common and you need to fight
    infection if it happens)
    Beach bag
Neosporin (a MUST to prevent infections)
Pain killers (Hydrocodone if you have some, just in case)
    Dental Floss
Cheap beach towels (these came in very handy when towels were
unavailable. We also had a Jacuzzi room last time and one of these
served well as a mat so we didn't track lots of sand into the room)
    Tums
    Toys
    $1’s and $5’s
    Aloe
Umbrella (for walks up to the dining room if you go during a rainy time)
Afterbite ( you WILL get bitten to some extent)
Wash cloths (the housekeepers often don't have washcloths or small hand
    towels on their carts.)
    Body lotion
    Aspirin
    Wet Wipes
Bug repellent (especially in summer and if you like evening walks on the
    beach)
Band aids (Sport kind that stay on)
    Lip Balm with SPF
Beach shoes (to avoid sea urchin spines and rocks in the ocean)
Paint brushes & paint for rock (they're sometimes available, but you can't
    count on it)
Sunscreen (lots - you can always bring the extra back and use it at home,
but buying it here can be very costly and you'll use lots of it.
When you think you have more than enough, throw in a couple of
    extra tubes.)
    Benedryl
    Passports
Ziplock bags (You'll find many uses for them, especially if you smoke - you'll
need to put your cigarettes and lighter in a small resealable bag
to keep them from getting wet)
    Breath Mints
32 oz insulated cups and straws (an absolute MUST. The cups at Hedo cost
about $14 each and the wait times at the nude pool bar can be
long when it's busy and those little plastic cups they give you just
    don't cut it)
    Cold Medicine
Water floats (if you want something special or if you go at a busy time when
the blue lounge chair cushions/floats may be at a premium)
Pens (No one ever seems to have a pen, besides you'll need one to fill out
the immigration documents on the plane)
Extension cord (we actually used it this time because we couldn't put the TV
on without also turning on the fluorescent light over the bench by the
windows. The extension cord allowed us to plug the TV into an
unswitched wall outlet and avoid the light)
Monostat (you never know and the vacation is expensive!)
    Kaopectate (ditto)
    Eye drops
Battery chargers for iPod, Cameras, phones, etc.
    Prescription medications
    Lube
Extra (cheap) Sunglasses (you will probably lose at least one pair in a week)
    Mouthwash
    Hats
    Sore Throat Lozenges
Extra sandals/flip flops (again, you're drinking, you're leaving your sandals all
over the place. It's likely you'll forget them and they'll disappear at
    least once)

That's what a lot of people do! I think we dispensed as much first aid supplies and meds as the nurse did on our last trip. Let's see, the "patients" included a blister that broke, several small cuts from shells (both bandaids and neosporin), an infection (antibiotics), a pulled muscle (hydrocodone), a sea urchin spine and my own scraped leg from nude volleyball (also nepsporin), bad sunburn (aloe), and two cases of diarrhea (Kaopectate). It seems likie when someone got hurt or sick they pointed at us and said, "Go talk to them, they have everything".

1st.... figure out how much cloths u need for the week ,then cut that in half and in half one more time.Other than the theme night cloths(if you plan to dress for them and I suggest you do) and diner dress ( very casual) shorts and a T is all you really need. The extra towel idea is good to cause sometimes they run out .All the meds and stuff listed in above post are a must too.[B]But the most important thing to bring is a carefree, open, and positive attitude and that's what people will see before any cloths!
