    Desire vs. Hedo

We just came back from hedo and loved every moment. I did not want to come back. Never thought the wife would get naked, but she did. We were thinking about desire in Mexico. Any thoughts? Is it like Hedo? Is there a nude side and a prude side or is everyone together. Please give me some thoughts. Thanks guys.

We are headed to Desire in October (10/11-10/16) so we will give you the first hand recap upon our return. I have heard good things about Desire during takeover weeks, but have heard it can be lame during regular weeks.

Here is a Desire message board I just found where you might be able to get more info:

We've been to both Hedos, and Cancun Desire. We cant say anything negative about Desire Cancun, but weve decided we just like Hedo 3 better. Sure the beach at Desire Cancun is heads/shoulders above either of the Hedos.

We just the atmosphere at Hedo 3 the best. Heck, you cant beat the wateslide at H3. We find ourselves feeling like kids again while at Hedo 3.

Like to post above, were positive it has to do with what type of group is present.

The mosquitos at Desire Cancun was absolutely absolutely horrible the week we were there.

We've been to Hedo 2 twice and Desire once. They are VERY different. Hedo is a fun, high energy, laid back riot. Desire is more serene, upscale and romantic. We enjoyed both for what they offer and the spirit they have. Bare in mind that Desire is marketed as a lifestyle friendly resort, which Hedo does not. The food is fantastic at Desire and the resort is like-new. It was virtually re-built after Hurricane Wilma late in 2005. There is no specific nude or prude side- generally the pool was clothing optional, but you could move about the resort sans clothing. The dining areas and such were clothed just as Hedo. You should try both to see what YOU like!

What do you mean by a lifestyle friendly resort? Aren't they both lifestyle friendly?

Both resorts are frequented by lifestylers, its just that hedo doesn't market themselves towards it in the same way as desire does. Desire provides the "playroom" and several beds located near the hottub for use should the moment strike. At hedo things just seem to happen in the sexually charged atmosphere without the resort doing anything to necessarily promote or help the cause (ie. providing specific places for play, other than your own room). For the most part they usually don't do much to stop it either.

I thinks it's a safe statement to say that at Hedo, "straight" naked people out number swingers most of the time, except for the so-called lifestyles periods. That's probably opposite at Desire. Does this make any difference? Probably not. People go to these resorts to let their hair down, take their clothes off and enjoy the tropical "heat". That heat is whatever you want it to be.

Been to Desire in Cabo. Nice rooms but doesn't come close to Hedo 2 or 3. They mean it when they say no sex around the pool. They got all offended and I was just getting some head. At least at Hedo resorts you already have a feel for where it's ok to do what. Desire did have a Wal-Mart across the street though.
