We didn't get any bug bites. Maybe we were lucky, but we never used repellent, or anything. We were really good about sunblock from head to toe and even though it wasn't the sunblock with bug repellent, maybe the bugs still stay away when you have it on. Just a theory. Even if following it doesn't prevent bug bites, it will keep you from getting sunburned...

Is your glass "half full," or "half empty"... At Hedo, who cares... go ahead and fill it up every time you're near the bar...

I have found that Tequilla, taken internally, in liberal dpses prevents dengue fever, malaria, runny nose, chapped lips, and male pattern baldness. It does however have one "indication" that may present itself at the worst possible time; Whiskey Dick ( the inability to achieve anyhing resembling bonerus- erecti).
Excuse me while I whip this out.

my rule of thumbs for meds is "How much would life suck, if I needed it, but didn't have it, VS. the space it takes up if I pack it, but didn't use it"..

needless to say, I pack my fair share of OTC meds.

my most recent rant about what to bring is on the H3 thread here.

    good luck & have fun.

A hat and dehydration salts. (When I got sick at Hedo it was from lack of water, not the food). And not to be a mom, but if you're taking a pain reliever and you drink like I do while at Hedo, be mindful that Tylenol+booze= REALLY bad things for your liver. Better to stick with ibuprofen. Big mugs are really great. A really good towel might also be something to bring.

    currency/plug converter???

Do I need to bring any type of device in order to plug in electrical things that are made in America? I need to be able to charge my cell phone - that;s the main thing.....

    Thanks in advance!

Nope -- it's the same type plug and the same current as in the USA.
