A little New Orleans and Hedo story

So we found ourselves down in Louisiana this last weekend for a wedding on Friday. Our AWOL friends Matt and Shandra, Terie and Larry, and Carlos and Maria all joined us down on Bourbon Street Saturday afternoon and night for a little partying.
This being our first time there, we knew from what we had been told that it is quite a party down there, but really did not know exactly what to expect. It was a great time, but the biggest surprises of the day hit when we began chatting with people at some of our stops.
I would say that of the dozen or so people we talked to, when the subject of hedo came up (people were asking how we all knew eachother when they learned we were from all over)- 10 or 11 had been to either II or III.
Simple to explain I guess- hedo people know where the party is!
Good news- sounds like the AWOL 2010 meet and greet will be in New Orleans- see you all there!

I think your moral is quite accurate. NOLA is a blast.. and in many cases, liberal minded people, etc. Now, if you met all those folks in the sex shop or the unisex strip club, that doesn't count. LOL. I love NOLA and cannot wait for meet and greet NOLA style 2010!
