Wife always takes hers and wears it to dinner. They have room safes that you access with a code you establish yourself, all you have to do is remember to secure it...lol...

Elle always takes hers to wear for dinner. Somehow she often manages to talk me into buying something new from duty free too.

I advise all men to keep the women out of there at all cost. They see pretty sparkly things and you are at Hedo ... she WILL find a way to "talk" you into buying her anything she wants.

I've managed to "convince" Jim to buy me some sparkly stuff at that jewelry shop!

If those connecting roommates would not leave there stuff laying around other peoples rooms, there would be little chance of it getting secured. I would almost think that one would be grateful that their precious stuff was indeed secured.

We leave the real rocks at home and wear CZ's to Hedo. If you take expensive items overseas, you should register them with Customs beforehand as per this text:

"To avoid paying duty on items you owned when you left the United States, such as expensive dive gear or camera equipment, consider registering these items on a Certificate of Registration for Personal Effects Taken Abroad before you leave. Other big-ticket items such as computers, electronics, watches and jewelry, and anything manufactured in the country you are visiting, should be registered, too."

If US Customs choses to question any item brought in and you didn't register it on the way out or have proof of prior ownership with you, they can confiscate it.

Always wear my wedding band, but take alot of costume stuff too. I have always kept my wedding rings in the safe. Usually just wear the band at the beach or pool.Leave all the costume jewerly for the EC's. Until Nov

we left everything at home - figured between the humidity and the alcohol, rings wouldn't fit by the end of the week.

and the only sparkly stuff i found in the duty free was SOCO Reserve! Have to go back to Hedo just to get some of that.

okay, well i GUESS i'll go back to hedo for other reasons too
