The Cubs in 2008 and 2009 won their division. 2 years in a row! A HUGE thrill for us in Illinois. I know, the Yankees have won the World Series what, 26 times? Yawn.......How can anyone not root for a team that has not won the World Series for 100 years? (Since they won in 1908, this is the TRUE 100th anniversary). I've watched them since I was 6 yrs old. (1969). Bozo's Circus at 12:00, and the Cubs at 1:00. The point of all this is give the Cubs and their fans a break and root for us in 2009!

Its only the diehards that root for there team year after year, with no reward for their efforts. We did in NE with the Sox for years, finally got our just reward, IMHO, so go Cubby's, theres always next year.
