All that glitters question?!

hello all! i should be working right now, but have major

and dreaming about 57 days from now. we have been a few times to H 3, but for the life of me can not remember the whole "all that glitters" night and what everyone was wearing. I think it was one of those nights that we went straight back to the pool/ hot tub after the piano bar--but honestly can't remember. is this the "casino night" and what do you wear?? trting to get the outfits together, so thanks everyone in advance!!

I could be totally wrong but, isn't the Glitter Night when they have the big spread with the ice sculptures and dinner on the area between the main dining hall and prude beach area?

I know there was the beach dinner and seems like there were two nights that dinner was on the terrace. One could have just been the games on the Terrace (near the main dining hall). But, I do not remember what everyone was wearing....too much alcohol I suspect. LOL!

You are correct, I would add that dress for the evening, have seen from sequined dresses to shorts and tee's. To us this theme night is more about the dinner event than anything else.

never worn sequins or anything that night, just a little nicer-meaning normal club wear in the past.

Two trips to II this year but no out-doors dinners, no beach, no patio. All meals in the usual dinig area.

Here are the current themes:

THE CURRENT HII THEMES ARE AS FOLLOWS (SUGGESTED APRIL 2009 HII ALTERNATE):
SUNDAY: Jamaican Colors (SCHOOL GIRL/NERD/PRINCIPAL)
MONDAY: Pirates & Wenches
TUESDAY: PJ Party
WEDNESDAY: Pimper’s Paradise (BODY PAINT/LATEX)
THURSDAY: Toga Party
FRIDAY: Rock Star Night (WESTERN STAR)
SATURDAY: Fantasy & Fetish

Saw no paint on Wednesday. Come to think of it, very few people even attempted to dress in themes. Fetish on Saturday (when many/most people arrive) was a bit of a dud (except for the very enthusiastic German couple).

So basically, do your own thing, or (better) join an on-site group and follow their customized themes -- more fun and you'll feel fully involved.

No sign of anything like a casino night.

All that Glitter Gala is indeed a buffet on the main terrace...we did the shimmery sequin thing, but also could add lights...saw a few LED bkinking lights attached to outfits...one gent used his blinky's for buttons....alsp saw a few glowy things in the girls hair

When we were there with regard to clothing and accessories saw a lot of gold and some silver with and without rhinestones, sequins etc...and yet a few took it literally and wore not much more than body glitter. It's all up to you - just enjoy
