Checking out the other Hedo

Can anyone advise if one is staying at H2, can one go to H3 for the day to "check it out?"

if so, would there be any cost involved?

also, if anyone knows...do both hedos run the same tours at the same time?

Por hemplo, do both tour desks go to Dunn River falls at the same time?

not sure if you'd want to stay at one and check out the otherfor the day...they are not next door to each other. If you took the superclubs shuttle you would have to stop over at the airport...I would guestimate this trip to take 3 1/2 hour minimum each way...both are about and hour and half (some days more some days less) from the airport. Even if you took a taxi direct (would guess at least $150-$200) you might shave 1/2 hr off the trip. Would you really like to spend 7 hrs in a day transporting just to "check it our"?

No the tour desks run independently. Again because of distance from H2, Dunns River might prove a daunting journey...there are other Falls closer to Negril.

thanks for the info. That would burn the day just traveling from one to the other.

Yes, you'd lose a day on just travel...not even being able to spend a whole day the one you were checking out. Not worth it in my opinion, unless you are staying in Jamaica for a few weeks....hmmm......

Last year, while staying at Hedo 3, a few members in our group set up and excursion, offered by the tour desk. It was for sunset at Ricks Cafe, it included a day pass at Hedo 2. The cost was $75 per person. It was an all day trip, but since it was multi members form our group, we all hung out at the nude pool at Hedo 2 for most of the day, went to Ricks for the sunset and back to Hedo 3 in time for PJ night. We had been to Hedo 2 so it was fun hitting it again, albeit for one short brief afternoon. We would do it again if there was enough interest from others in our group.

You know if you go to Hedo III, then just schedule your NEXT trip to Hedo II. That way you can compare the weeks stay. If the resorts were closer it wouldn't be so bad, but you are probably looking at a travel time of 4-6 hours of the day. I have never been to Hedo III, but I LOVE Hedo II, we have been 8 years now and would not ever go to DISNEY again. haha. Have a blast wherever you go. I see youy are going to Hedo II, make sure you give us a trip report when you get back.....See if you can find ALL the hidden hot tubs!!!!!

well folks i really appreciate the input. having never been i wasn't sure. but after reading countless posts on this board, i knew i would get some informed and clear thoughts on the subject from experienced Hedonites.
