We're hoping to book our stay at HIII tomorrow. We'll be travelling to H3 on or about May 29. I have a question about the beach/beach area and didn't have alot of luck with the search engine.
The beach area is supposedly quite small but the pictures of the resort show an area that appears to be rather large where you can go for a walk. Is there an area for a long(er) walk on the beach and is the area safe ??

There are 2 beaches at Hedo 3, the nude beach is so not very big, I am guessing you must have seen pix from the prude beach. It too is small, if you walked up and down it a bunch of times you might get in a good walk. Both beaches at Hedo 3 are exclusive to the resort with no access on or off from the beaches.Originally Posted by kennifer

The best thing to do is pretend there is no beach at all, then when you see the small patch of sand you will be pleasantly suprised. With regards to the "beach" at H3, keep your expectations low.

I totally agree with Desert Dwellers as far as keeping your expectations for the H3 beach very, very low....

Both beaches are "man-Made". A walk across the nude beach ill take you about 15-20 seconds, depending on your pace. You can walk the "expansive" prude beach in about a minute and a half...two if you walk slowly. The pictures are taken with wide angle making them look much bigger....if you want a beach, I would suggest Hedo 2...Hedo 3 is about the pools and people.

the beach at H3 is more like a back yard or local public beach at the lake.
Not more than 200 meters long. with NO WHERE to go beyond that!
IF you are going for the beach...DON'T GO TO H3!
This is why we are going to H2 in May.
We were extremely dissappointed with the beach at H3 in Sep.
But the resort was still incredible!
We're officially booked for Hedonism III arriving June 5 for a week. The beach is not a deal breaker for us and we liked the reviews for HIII so we took the plunge.
Looking forward to our first trip !!! Already counting down the days !!

Agreed... H3 is one hell of a party - there's lots of sun, water and skin... Who needs a beach anyway?

i never been but i saw some pictures of hedo3 nude beach. personally, its not bad.
i mean if you wanna jog down the beach, then negril's beach is it.
but if u wanna cool-out & beach bum it, H3 should do fine. (i'm hopeful @ least.)
I guess the lack of beach at H3 never bothered me because i am more of a pool person, and quite frankly go to H3 more for the people than anything.. H3 is where my friends go, so that is where I go.
I guess if you are really looking to jog or do long walks on the beach, H3 is not a good choice. If you want to party nekkid in the pool with the most fun people in the world.. go for it.

If you want to go to H3 and also walk on the beach, you can go out to the road, turn right and walk / run about a half-mile. There's access at that point to a public beach and you can walk all the way down to Breezes.
We spent almost all last week on the H3 Nude Beach and had a great time.
WOW!!!!! 8 trips under our belts and who woulda known....thanks for that tidbit of information.
