Newbie here.
Sorry if this has been asked before but here goes....
My husband and I will be there from July 26-Aug 1. I noticed there will be 3 different "groups" there. AWOL,Wild Women Vacations and Cocktails International.
My question is do the people attending these intermingle or do they tend to stay with the group they came with?
I know that there are special events that you can only attend if you booked with that particular group but I am just curious about outside of those.

As host of AWOL, along with our friends Nick and Kerry, I feel comfortable in saying, we want nothing to do with any of the other groups...especially Cocktails International...lol....actually some of our best Hedo friends are in that "other" group Cocktails International. We traveled with them for years before starting our own group, you can not go wrong with them. There will be a lot of us AWOLers there for part of the week, we intend to share in the vow renewals of some Cocktillian friends, but for the most part our group will arrive the day you leave.

This is our first year with Cocktails though we have been to Hedo III at the same time as them for the past 2 years. We talked with many of them before becoming part of the group and I know us ourselves will talk and mingle with many people group or not. We are there to party and have fun with everyone.
The only thing I have noticed in past visits about groups is that you have to be part of it to attend private events. You should look into Cocktails Int. It's a great group of people and a great way to meet people before traveling down through chats and stuff. There's no agenda and no ties to be in it. It's just there to meet Hedo friends.

Hey guys. Rob and Elle here ... co-hosts of Cocktails International. We would be happy to have you join us. We are just a group of people there to have a great party, have as much fun as humanly possible, make a bunch of great new friends, and tear the place up before them AWOL people show up - they just come to sleep anywayLOL ... You will be fortunate to be able to meet some of our great AWOL friends - they are the second best group that travels to the resort.
For our first trip, we went by ourselves and had a great trip, but it took us a long time to get to know anyone and we felt a little like outsiders. We went back later that same year and joined Cocktails ... not only was it an INCREDIBLE trip, but we loved the great new friends that we made. So much so that we kept on traveling with them every year until they conned us into co-hosting this group of wild, crazy, fun, party people who quickly became like family to us.
It does not take much to join, just let me know and we will sign you up.

Groups help make hedo fun. If your traveling as individuals, pretty much every group will include you in the conversation and fun if your nearby and friendly.
