    Jamaican Hurricane recipe

    1 oz banana liqueur
    1 oz Chambord raspberry liqueur
    1 oz Malibu coconut rum
    1 1/2 oz pineapple juice
1 1/2 oz cream (rum cream would work well also)

Pour all ingredients into a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice cubes. Shake well, strain into a highball glass, and serve.

In my earlier drinking days (my mid-20's) there was a rum shooter that would chase any wanna-be's away after the first taste. Poor sum-bitches,,, LOL.

Here it is, and,,,, I must tell you,,,,,, beware!!! Everything else you inbibe is downhill from there. It looks like Windex, hence the name.

    "Windex"

Mix equal parts of 151º and Blue Curacao, usually 1oz of each.

Drink with gusto and savor it.

Got this from Bev @ H3 nude pool bar,,,

    1/2 cup Dark rum
    1/4 cup Malibu coconut rum
    2 1/2 cups pineapple juice
    2 1/2 cups orange juice
    1/4 cup lime juice

Mix all ingredients together in a blender or punch bowl. Pour over ice cubes in any type of glass.

Of course, Bev usually made it frozen.

    That chocolate hurricane sounds gooooood.
For those who like Captain Morgan - try it with Dr. Pepper - I know it sounds strange but it is good.
Love Appleton's and the rum cream - fell in love with a drink called Jamaican sex on the beach (creamy instead of fruity like ours) but it is hard to find bartenders who can make it right.
Also on trip to HIII was introduced to "clit-licker" (the drink) - it is the strawberry daiquiri from the machine with rum cream floated instead of regular rum - some may not like it but I loved it

So far my top 3 rums are:
    1. Ron Zacapa Centenario 23 Anos
    2. Appleton Master Blenders Legacy
    3. Mount Gay Extra Old

Not a fan of Bacardi or most spiced rum.

    Thumbs up

Prefer Tequila, but have been known to drink rum cream on ice and the occasional rum and coke. The last rum I tasted was Captain Morgan 100...it numbed my tongue....

Ok, so as far as mixers and rum go,,,, I like any of the "Looza" brand of juices and nectars. I mentioned them in the Tequila thread, but they really go well with rum, as well. There's more of a variety than what the picture shows, I think 10-15 different juices. The key lime juice makes an excellent Mojito with just about any rum available.
