we will be there (Hedo II) for july 4th week (our 1st trip ever - wife & I)...is this usually a good/bad/so-so time to go? we're going to make it fun no matter what, just wandering if anyone can give us some insight into the ongoings of that paticular week.
Have a blast and pack light. We can answer your questions, ask away. You will see a lot of skin and no clothes except at meals lol. We suggest you read the many different trip reports for starters.
That is a popular week with many regulars. I do know that they have a parade with a high school band that goes down the beach through Sandals, many naked.

We go that time every year, this year too, and nothing special happens. People wear red, white and blue body jewelry and some paint their faces. That's about all we have seen....unless we were in a drunken stuper!!!

7/5 - 7/12 Hedo II
We saw where a large lifestyles group out of Tx. will be at Hedo II this week. We aren't lifestylers but would enjoy the party atmosphere that they surely will bring with them.
