    Bikers in Illinois

    We both ride here.
She is the one who got me into riding. And come to think of it she was the one to mention going to hedo also. I see a pattern forming here. I have such a cool wife!!!!

Susie and I both ride cruisers. She just got her license and her first cycle last year. I bought her a little 650 Savage for her first bike to learn on. She loves. Actually gave me shit when I put it away last fall. Anyway, I think I got more skin from that purchase than anything else I have ever bought for her. LOL........
When you get back from Hedo, reality just slaps you in the forhead............we miss Hedo 2

    Ok, This just got better!

Twomech, Dee's first bike was also a 95 650 Savage until she blew the motor! LOVED THAT BIKE! Make sure you keep VERY CLOSE tabs on the oil level, they have a tendency to burn oil and if you see ANY evidence of a leak from the head plug... GET IT FIXED QUICK!
PS, if you need any parts let me know! We bought another one that was disassembled for the motor, so I have almost a complete bike in the shed for parts. Now that bike with the other motor is my Son's for his first bike.

Dee now rides a 2005 S50, the bike she was planning on getting after she felt comfortable on the Savage... blow the motor and a couple weeks later NEW BIKE! SHE LOVES IT!

CopNKitten, I ride a 97 Intruder 1400 my "Trudie". IT IS THE BIKE I ALWAYS WANTED!!
Been riding it since 2003 when I bought it used.

Check out the pics on my www.usmmr.com site and on our my space pages.
Also check out the best Suzuki Intruder/Boulevard site on the web...
www.intruderalert.com on there I am CowboyUpDJC

I am looking to buy another 97-01 Trudie before I redeploy in Sep/Oct 09

I used to ride. Raced a Suzuki GSXR750 for years in the 90's. Once you do that, it is hard to ride on the street. Just doesn't seem safe anymore unless I am on a track.

Last year I traded my '04 Ultra Classic with 74,000 miles for an '08. Guess you could say I ride a bit. This year we are giving up our 16 day bike trip for Hedo. Hope to get a few short trips in this year.

Well we both have been into Harleys for years, and we each have our own. Our sons both ride and our grandson also has his own. You can never start to early.

Been riding for almost 19 years and still love it. I started off on a Ninja 250R, then a Honda Rebel 250. After the Rebel I jumed up a bit in size to a 2002 Fatboy. Just traded the Fatboy last year on a 2008 Street Glide. I loved them all!

    Carl!...How are ya buddy!!

Cool to hear from the biker bunch, we find bikers are usually friendly, like the people at Hedo

we have a black Honda VTX 1800, first bike ever, it was a bit shaky the first time around the block but we have now done four riding seasons and love it. We have been to Montana's "going to the Sun road" , Canadian Rocky mountains, Canadian prairies, no lookin back!
