Hedo 3, Temptation or Desire Resorts?

We have been to H3 and loved it. But we were curious about the Desire or Temptation resort atmosphere. If anyone out there has been or heard anything we would like to hear about it. Or if anyone can compare H3 to either of the other places I would appreciate any information. Thanks!

This is my take on Hedo3 vs Desires, other opinions will vary,


Hedo 3 has a far more partay'in atmostphere than Desires during the day.

Because Hedo 3's nude pool area is smaller, it is more intamite to me, also, no poolside drink service forces you up outa your prone position, to go to the bar, and on the way meet & greet other guest.

When Ec's are on at Hedo 3, theres no comparison to the fun and games they envoke.

Pool volleyball, again, get up off your tush, and meet some of the best people are likely to ever meet.

Singles, add a whole other dimension to the vibe, to some its a plus not have single guys around ( everybody wants single females around) but in my 10 +- trips, have only had 2 incedents with overly aggressive guys, and they lasted only seconds.

You can drink the water on the resort in Jamaica, not recommended in Mexico, I got sick for 2 days, even with diligent respect toward not drinking the water.

At Hedo3, the hot tub is on the ground floor, at Desires there's 30 or so steep steps

Once at the hot tub at Desires, it is a good vibe after 4-5pm, and the activity beds around the tub, which are often occupied, and you dont have to get out of the tub to get a drink, its a swim-up bar.

The disco at Desires is superior IMO, for several reasons, they play the music at a reasonable level, they cater to the guest music tastes better, and theres a large play room off the back.

Desires facility is newer/nicer, they seem to respond faster to guest complaints/concerns

Food is a wash

Beach is far superior at Desires

IMO, if you are looking for a layed back vaca, with some naughtiness sprinked in, at a 3 star resort, Desires is the place to go

If you want a full blown partay, with almost anything and everything ( with in safe limits) available to partake in , if you wish, a vaca you'll be talkin about for years to come, Hedo, either one, is the only choice

Nekkidpirate hit it dead on! we went to desire last year and loved it for what it is, but are returning to the party place this April.

I agree with the other post comparing the two resorts. We've been to both Desires (although the one at Cabo is now Temptations) and to Hedo II and to Hedo III. Our favorite is Desire Cancun, however, our spring vacation this year (next week) is to Hedo II. "Why?" you might ask, are you going to Hedo if you prefer Desire. The answer is easy. They are different but they are both worthy of your vacation dollars. We have a great time at all of them and now we're ready for the Hedo party atmosphere. By the way, we'll probably go to Hedo III again soon. But for now, we're going back to Hedo II.

So we have heard that these resorts are mainly for swingers, is that true? We found at Hedo "anything goes" but not sure about the other places. And thanks for all of your input, keep it comming!

Its been my experience that "these" clubs are not swingers clubs, swingers are often there, sometimes more, sometimes less, but never in the majority, including Hedo 3.

There is an element of sexually charged vibe, an openess to others and what they may do, usually a very non-judgemental atmosphere.

But most go to experience it with their SO,
