Turns out we will be at HedoIII for Ash Wednesday and the few days leading up to it (Feb 20 - 27)
anyone been there for these events in other years?
I have heard Jamaica doesn't celebrate Carnival really, or at least not as much as some of the other islands like Trinidad and Tobago
Just wanted to know if they did anything special to boost the party (not that party needs any help at Hedo)

I don't know about Mardi Gras in Jamaica. I will be in New Orleans for Mardi Gras this year so I'll have a few hurricanes and hand grenades for you. In all honesty though, I do envy you. Hedo is it's own celebration and I've found no place or party that even comes close to being as good. Here's a thought though. Bring a case of beads, some masquerade style masks, and get everyone else to celebrate. On a better note, if everyone is already naked, what do they possibly have to do to get beads?? Are you with me?
Hedo, in the past, has been pretty good about celebrating most of the large festive events. I have contacted my person on the resort to see if they have anything special planned for Mardi Gras.

According to her after talking to the events coordinator, there are no special events scheduled by Hedo 3 at that time....I like the idea above though about bringing your own beads....do a parade, have a party...its Hedo...
