    Places to run

Where are good places to go for a run around H3? I am leery of going off the resort, not sure how much you can really run around H3 itself.

    What have others done?

I run almost every day when I am at H3 and have been doing so for 3 years now. I always run out to the main road and go a couple of miles in either direction. No one has ever bothered me, or even given me a menacing look. It's a main road and there are police going up and down that road pretty often.
I always check out at the main gate and tell the guard that I am going out for a run. Once in a while, I've run around and around the outer perimeter of the resort, but that only take about 5 minutes and gets old pretty quickly.
As long as you run during the day, I don't think you'll have a problem. I've seen other runners, from Hedo and other resorts, while I've been out and about.
Sometimes, after going out to the main road, I turn right and then after about a half-mile, turn into the public beach and run by the water down to Breezes resort.
PM me if you have specific questions. When are you going?

If I actually force myself to exercise when I am there.. I just use the treadmill... I don't feel comfortable running or walking outside the resort alone.. but, I am a small lady.. so, that is just me.

I can understand -- running alone as a lady may be somewhat different with the comfort level. I have seen women running in pairs and alone in Jamaica outside the resort.

But then again, ladies running alone have to be careful in many cities in the US.

Its no problem to run off resort. Either right or left is safe. You'll likely meet good people along the way
