We are beer drinkers and was wondering whot beer was served other than red stripe? Do they have American beer?

Red Stripe only, but it's not bad beer. It's a lager.

Purple Haze taste like pixie sticks. dirty banana is great at any time of the day or just go up to the bar and have them surprise you

DIRTY NANNERS (ok...it's really called "Dirty Banana"...but NANNERS is a much more fun word to say...and it's easier to slur out after drinking many!!) We also drank Red Stripe (and I can't remember if there were any other beers) and I drank Bloody Mary's in the morning to curb my hangovers, but I can't remember what the ones I drank were called. They were SPICY and had a "different" name than simply "Bloody Mary". Be sure to bring your HUGE insulated mug (we bought like 120 oz ones...ok...not THAT big, but pretty darn big) ones at Wal-Mart for like 4 bucks. They were great for frozen drinks, beer, water, bloody mary's...whatever you want, they'll make your drink and put it in your cup so you don't have to keep running to the bar!!

BIG mugs are good...the good ole red stripe does tend to get skunkie in the sun so you have to drink it quickly...I know its a sacrifice but someone has to do it..lol

I just bought a case of Red Stripe and I was a little unsure about it. I love beer but it has a little stronger taste then I usually like. I put a lime in it and it was great ( ya I know a little girlie, but wait I am a girl) LOL. So bring it on.

As is the case most of the time, bottled beer and tap seem to taste a bit different. I drink Red Stripe from a bottle here in the U S of A, drinkable, but Hedo you get it on tap. LOVE LOVE LOVE it at Hedo....

Thanks vegas. I agree certain beers do taste better on tap then in a bottle. I guess if it's cold and there is alcohol in it I will drink it.

I wondered if it was my imagination that it (red stripe) tasted better in Jamaica than here at home.
As for frozen drinks - Hummingbirds are good to start with - especially if it is early in the day and you want to ease into the drinking or back off of heavy stuff to keep from getting too blasted (imo) also - when you mix the strawberry daquiri and pina colada - it is called a Miami Vice - pretty good but..... another guest on our last visit got me drinking the strawberry daquiri with rum cream and now I am hooked on it (it is called a clit licker and ordering it can get a rise out of some of the bartenders and be a great ice-breaker with other guests haha)
