Lobsters still sold on the beach at HedoII?

In '04, locals came to the fence by Delroy's and sold live lobsters which the cooks grilled for us. Is this still happening? It was killer.

The fling fisherman, stills sells lobsters, you give him your order in the morning or night before and will even cook it for you on Booby Cay and bring it to you. $15-20

    on the menu

It's been close to a year since i've been but there was lobster on the buffet Friday night at H2. I wonder if that's a regular thing or just an occasional treat.

We bought Lobsters from Sunny and Rupert last year at Hedo 2.....20$ each. They cooked them at Booby Cay and brought them to us for lunch. They were a good size and had a very nice flavor..............

When I was there in '01 I remember there were locals that would cook them in a sand pit filled with coals - it was AMAZING. I was curious if they still had that too Amazing!

Lobster Man still selling lobster in the AM. $20.00 per lobster.
We had Lobster Stir fry on Friday night at the Buffet. A little tough but was decent.

Damn, $20.00 US is way too much for Jamaica on the beach. Hell thats way too much for FL. I pay that here in MI.
Also lobster will be illegal in Jamaica from April 1 to June 30. It will be Lobster mating season.

This is why we booked before 4/1, haha. I love lobster.

On our Feb trip to H2, they only did grilled Lobster tails one of the Friday nights we were there and they were not great but edible. Overall food quality seems to have dipped a little but we never lacked for anything to eat. The pasta station they have every night was fabulous--worth the few minutes you wait to have your "custom" pasta dish created!!

Guess I will try ordering the beach lobsters the evening before....never can seem to remember in the morning!

Have the ski boat give you a lift to the Office Of Nature on Bloody Bay. They grill lobster over a wood fire. $25 for 1 1/2 lobster and homemade bread. It is delicious. Also a good way to experience the local way of life.
