Nov. 20th - 30th.
Travel: Plane ride was smooth and we had no issues with the bus ride. We arrived in the superclubs lounge had some water and were off to the resort within 20 mins.
Arrival: We were quickly checked in. Offered drinks upon our arrival which was a nice touch. We asked to be upgraded and got a nude side garden view at no extra charge which was awesome. *hint* book the cheapest room and ask for an upgrade when you arrive 90% of the time they will upgrade you with no hassle.
Rooms: Personaly we had no issues with the rooms. There were two minor things wrong. The coffee maker did not work but we didnt really care and the remote for the tv did not work again we really didnt care. If we came for coffee and tv we would not have choosen Hedo II. There were beach towels in the room so we didnt' have to fight for any. Maid service was great and very friendly.
Reading other reports we were initally afraid the rooms would be in bad shape but in our opinion the rooms were not all that bad. Its no 5 star resort but we both found the rooms to be above what we expected. Bed was comfy shower was strong and hot and the a/c unit worked.
Resort: The resort grounds were amazing very beautiful and lush. (like my wife) beach was nicely maintained *Augustus does a great job* Overall we thought the resort as whole was very nice and again exceeded our expectations. The layout was nice and convenient. and our room was in a perfect place. We stayed in the H block if any one is looking for a good room. It was perfectly placed between the main dining area and the nude beach.
Staff: We both found the staff to be amazing. Everyone had a smile and was always helpful. They make an effort to remember your name and say hi everytime they see you. Delroy rules the nude bar. Winston is a sight to see during dinner he is a one man show. Can't say enough nice things about the staff!
Food: We've had better and we've had worse. The buffets most nights were good. The grills always offers up a good snack. And both restaurants pastafari and munasan were both great and worth booking to take a break from the buffets. *lobster was fantastic* both on the beach and in the buffet. Midnight buffet was nothing special so unless your really hungry its not worth the trip.
Booze: Were plentiful and ever flowing. We are not too picky with the booze so it all went down good. I usually drank red stripe and the wife had her white wine which was actually not too bad. shots to try: woo hoo and the bob marley. but be forwarned those woo hoo's can sneak up on ya.
Atomosphere: the thing that amazed us was there really is no other place like Hedo. After visiting Hedo I dont think we can ever visit another resort in the carribbian. And as we've read before and will say it again you will definantly see all shapes, sizes and colors. And no one cares! everyone is just out there having a great time! there is no need to be shy or intimidated at all.
PDA's: we've seen plenty all over the resortand even created a few of our own.
If its your thing you'll love it if not you can always avoid it.
There's never any pressure to participate but there's also plenty of opprotunity.
A few tips for newbies.
**Hot tub steps do not exist. Watching some one fall is funny 3 or 4 times but after that you kinda start to feel bad!! So careful getting in!
**Dont bother with the prude side or you will find yourself hanging out with the one or two people too afraid to venture to the nude side. All the fun is on the nude side and dont be afraid to shed the clothes. Do it right away and be yourself and have a great time.
**Make friends!! Dont be afraid to say hi to people. Granted it took us a few days to strike up some conversation but now that we did we've made several friends that we plan on staying in touch with for years to come. Ya ya even you too julio!!!
Spanksgiving Parade was a blast! We had a great time running half naked through the other resorts. And if there was one thing that made us realize we made the right choice in Hedo it was the parade! Everyone at the other resorts looked absolutly bored out of there minds!!!!! And in come the Hedo crowd just having a blast and partying it up! it was great!
Theme Nights were fun PJ and Toga were big. Bring your own material and make your own toga its much more fun and sexy that way. And definantly bring all your sexy clothes because no matter how revealing you think you are ...there will always be some one more revealing than you. All the sexy clothes and themes made it fun and you should definantly participate. My wife wore sexy clothes everynight and I loved it!!! She and all the other ladies looked fantastic!
Over all it was our best vacation to date! And can only be topped by another visit to Hedo II. We both can't wait to go back soon!!!
