Newbies

My wife and I are planning on going to Hedo sometime in Jan or Feb.

Never been before, and don't know what to expect.

Any info would be appreciated. We will be checking forum streams to get as much info as possible.

Would really appreciate the do's and don'ts and etiquette rules.

Suggestion...read through all the trip reports...then come back with some specific questions for all the veterans to answer. Most of us could write a small book about our Hedo experiences so it's good to have specific questions.
One thing is certain -- you have the opportunity to have a blast.

Read as many of the posts about the site that you are going to (H II or H III). Then like midwestguy said, ask the vets about their experiences. We were like you guys and not sure as to what we were getting into and now we won't go anywhere else and have loved every single time we have been there and each time gets better.

Hi and welcome to the boards. Get ready for a mad crazy vacation. It can be everything you want it to be. Read as much as you can. Talk with your S/O about expectations and what you are looking to get out of the trip. If you have any specific questions ask away...Also bring a big insulated mug.

Ditto to what everyone else says. Read forums, trip reports, read The Naked Truth About Hedonism (I believe you can get it online). You can also check some sites for lists of Do's& Don'ts. Our site (link below) has some pretty comprehensive info about what to expect, pack, etc. Ask any questions you can think of, too!

What you are going to find is you will meet the friendliest, most helpfull people. This applies to the boards, the guests, and the staff. You are in for a great time. Like the others have said, read the trip reports. Then ask specific questions. And that said, remember nothing is off limits (except spam and politics)

My husband and I are planning to go in either the second or third week in February. We have way too many questions to ask all at once but everyone on here is very helpful. It is our first time and I am more hesitant than he is.

Which resort are you going to?

From what everyone says it will be a great time regardless if it rains or shines.
