Lifestyle Month

Hi everyone.

My wife and I have been to H3 once and H2 three times now. It is truly our home away from home. So far we have confined ourselves to pretty tame weeks, but we our expanding our horizons. One of our Hedo friends told us that the maximum amount of fun is in January, during the lifestyle takeovers. We are not full swingers, but "hey, you never know". Can anyone comment on what the best week in January is? Are there any really cool groups we should hook up with? About our only concern is that we wouldn't want to go while an extreme BDSM or fetish group is there.

January is considered Lifestyle month at the Hedo resorts. If you try and book a room during that time, they will even warn you that the majority of guests will be lifestylers, much more than usual. I'm told by friends that there is a lot less enforcement of the PDS rules.

While we are not members of that group, they did come down last year at the end of june and first of july. I didn't know what to expect. What I found was a group of fun-loving men and women. They were outgoing, but didn't do anything offensive. They were great. We made a ton of friends in that group and hope that they will be back around the first week of July. We are going back. That was our first trip...but not our last. We went there w/out knowing anyone or knowing what to expect. Came home with a lot of smiles, great memories, and lots of new friends. Can't speak for January, but can for the group, even though not a member. It certainly became a more spirited place with them there. Hope they are there in July.

Check out the Spring Break Group coming in April (18-26) wih Mary and Jim. We are not swingers either but went with them to H3 last year and had a blast. They accepted us like old friends and we could not have asked for a better time. Nobody pressured us or anything like that. They are switching to H2 this year because H3 gave thier normal week away to another group.

We have been to Hedo 2 in January and it is a BLAST....we are going again in Jan 09. Hedo 3 does not consider January a lifestyle month.

Years ago a travel agency specializing in Lifestyle travel started organizing groups to go to Hedo 2 in Jan, this kind of spread and now people from other travel agencys also book lifestyle travel to Hedo 2 durning this time.

There are more PDA's at the resort durning our time in Jan, than other times we have been there and the sex police are not really around at all. It is not a full swing orgy, but you may see some intresting things from time to time ;-). Not everybody that we have met there at that time are swingers, we have made alot of friends with people who are not in the lifestyle but love going to H2 in Jan because the resort seems more sexual charged at that time (I am sure that there are many other groups during the year that bring the extra sexualy charged atmosphere with them). The resort is usually close to full capacity during this time....which is great for us...we love the party, but some others may prefer to go when it is a bit slower...eaiser to get drinks, dinner reservations, chairs, etc.

We have seen some mild BDSM and fetish stuff while we were there....but that is not the norm...at least in public ;-)

Although all 4 weeks of Jan are considered a more lifestyle friendly time, the first and the 4th week are not as wild as week 2 and 3. On our last trip we were there for week 3 and a little of week 4. Things changed dramatically between the weeks...less pda, the resort started to enforce the no nudity in the pude areas (except the lobby and dining areas....these areas never went to clothing optional like the prude pool and beach). There were aslo less guests around.

We are looking forward to the second week of January as first timers. We've never had any lifestyle experiences together but when I told her I had booked H2 she couldn't sleep all night..so looking forward to it.

FunNMCouple, you know that we will be there that week. The last time we were at Hedo II during lifestyle weeks in January it was such fun. Sex police? We never saw them. There were couples have sex all over the place - beach, lagoon, pool, spa, cabanas, workout room, disco...
