Ivy & Rick - Blue & Mariposa, Y'all make it a point to get to H3 August 15-23 for the B/B Invasion 2009, and I'll bring you a bottle. Have you ever tried Casta or 1921?

Oops, Rick, I see in your sig that Y'all will be leaving around a week or so before we arrive. Just let me know when your next trip is going to be and I'll email a "treasure map" that'll point the way to tequila "Gold". Do you scuba or snorkle?

JC, and a couple of no-name brands they use for the well mixers. Occasionally, you'll see Sauza behind the bartenders, I recommend it over JC any nekkid day of the week.

Sauza Hornitos is not so bad, I hope they at least have that when I am there. You can not pay me to do JC or 1800. I need 100% blue agave for me to shoot. I think Patron is the best you can find at the bars, but imho I think it is a little over rated. I have tried a lot of Tequila over the years and so far I like Hussong's Reposado the best. Oh so smooth.

I scored 750ml of Don Julio Blanco at Costco in Cabo last week for $17US. Cheap stuff was as low as $8US. Just in case I want to pick up a good deal on TuKillYa in Negril, any suggestions where to shop?
I'm not as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I ever was.

In the never ending search for mas tequila, we came across one that we think is the smoothest so far, 7 Leagues, Siete Leguas, we did the anejo, enjoyed it, not to unreasonably priced.

7 Leagues isn't a brand I've seen yet,,,,, I'm gonna find some and have a little sniff & taste.

I have to say, I'm not a big fan of Reposado,,,,, Blanco and Anejo do me just fine. I'm actually surprised that I still have more than half of the Patron Anejo I received for X-mas.

Bring your own. I honestly haven't seen any of the choices of Tequila in Jamaica that are available to us here in the U.S. . However, I have seen a few brands there that are unavailable here, as of yet. Not sure how good they are, as I wasn't able to try them.

If you dont take your own tequila you will not want to drink any at all because the stuff they have at Hedo is also used for removing mold around the pool, just burns it off like nothing was there!!!!

Yeah, well,,,,,,, after I wrote that the other day, I realized I havent had much tequila since the rotgut episodes of a few weeks after I received the good stuff. I sipped on it a few times, but I really needed to get the image and memory of the shitty cactus whiskey from my mind. Besides, I'm not as piratey as I was a few months ago,,, my wife just cut my hair short.

There's about one finger remaining in the bottle now.

Shall I, as a loud and pompous piratey sort, keep thee apprised as to my levels of remaining "T", and my drinking prowess?

As a hijack,,,,,, I just checked the weather report for Ocho Rios and Runaway bay,,,,, 83º for a high temp tomorrow, low of 72º, and the ever present 20% chance that someone gets a free day @ H3.

As for us here on the Florida suncoast, the high is the same @ 83º, low of 63º, mostly sunny. For those who have worse weather, I wish I could send you some of ours. But I'll keep the Tequila for myself

    AARRGGHH!!!!
