    Talking

Although this subject has been covered to death I'll provide you with the basic differences.

    Hedo III
    Better/newer amenities
A Jacuzzi tub in every room
    Better buffet IMO
    Younger crowd
    Runaway Bay is lame

    Hedo II
    Bigger resort
    Bigger nude hot tub
    FAR Better beach
    More openness/PDAs
    Older crowd
    Negril is awesome

We've found the restaurants to be roughly equivalent at both resorts.
We've had an outstanding time at both resorts.

All things considered, Hedo II is our pick.
04/22/09 baby! Finally some relief from this DIF.

Absolutely Hedo II!!!! Especially the staff, Paulette makes one hell of a Rum Punch!!!! And, Winston, or Winstina is worth the trip alone!!

    Hedo2 vs Hedo3

    [/COLOR]Good Morning
It's the Single Guy again !!! I've been to Hedo II 17 times . I have made "Great" friends over the years and each August we have a "Reunion" which draws Hundreds of people that have met at Hedo. HedoII is the original and when I go back it's still HEDO !!!

Hi Sweetcheeks, welcome to the boards. Hedo 2 or Hedo 3...which to go to...we have been to them both, but prefer Hedo 3. We would go to Hedo 2 again without any hesitation...

If you are a beach person and that is a deal breaker for you Hedo 2 is the place to go. If thats not so important and its not for us since we live in the desert anyhow...you might like Hedo 3.

Hedo 3 is a smaller, newer of the 2 resorts. Small to us means more intimate, we do not go on vacation to be alone, we can do that at home.

Food wise I would say they are about the same, neither have 5 star eateries, but, we are not picky eaters and we have never gone hungry at either of them.

Rooms, we prefer the ones at Hedo 3, we are bath type folks, Hedo 2 has only showers in the rooms.

Night life on the resort, Hedo 3 to us has a more lively crowd. The major factor in liveliness is resort occupancy, are there any groups on the resort at the time you are there. When we were at Hedo 2, there were not and that is probably the biggest reason it seemed dead.

You can not go wrong with either resort, pick a time you want to go, figure out if there are any groups there at the time and join them. Hedo is best experienced with others...

    Have fun...

    Sweet,

If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask, in most cases people here enjoy sharing their experiences with others looking to go.

Which resort is better is really a personal choice. My advice would be to check out the groups that are going to be at each resort on the dates that you have chosen and go depending which group fits you best.

Once you have tried one resort, the next year try the other. That's the only way to know which one YOU like best. Every one has opinion about which is better, some think their opinion is the only one. You just have to do both and see for yourself.

We tried H2 last year after 3 trips to H3, we've decided that from now on we'll just spend a week at each. That way I don't have to decided and I get the best of both worlds. You really can't go wrong with either.

Nice...I like the way you think, If I could get the wife to go coach vs First Class, change room category from Ocean Front Nude Suite, 7 days instead of 10, we might be able to do that too....thanks, I am gonna present this as an option...
