A woman we know wishes to consider going with us to Hedo and asked about the surcharge for one person in a room...she asked about maybe finding another to share the room to reduce cost, but we all felt the idea sounds good but may be difficult to work out..any ideas.

We had a lovely lady came down with us to H3 this past April, and they would not just let her pay a surcharge to stay with us, so she ended up booking the shared room, which was not a bad price. Of course the only time she saw that room was on check out day to get her eviction notice, lol.

Would your friend consider a male roommate?
If you want to guarantee a single room, it's 50% more than a single share. Depending on which resort you go to and when, a single share could be a good gamble. That's what I was told and I'm giving it a shot next week. Given that there re no big groups going that week, I might end up never having a roommate.
